It was a decent tournament. Excellent group stage matches, a little sub par knockouts. Big dogs like Italy, England and Spain going out early is fun when it happens, but you miss them later on. Best KO match was probably the final, and at 1-0 that's not saying much really.
But as a Germany fan I couldn't be happier with the outcome of course. And that last goal was definitely a fitting goal to end a World Cup finals. I see Germany dominating for the next 2-3 tournies, with France and Spain maybe getting a look in. England should go home and don't come back until they can string 3 passes together.
