Damn, looking at my calendar, this might be the only night the entire month I can't go. I'll have to do some negotiating.

Watched part of a full show the other day. It's basically the same show from 2012. But on some of his classics, like Notthingham Lace and Soothsayer, he's fiddling with the presentation of them so much that they lose their impact. I dunno, he's still getting he's legs under him, but I'm not sorry right now that I can't go to tonight's show.

I also don't like the tone he's getting as much as I did earlier tours.

He's released 200 albums since his last tour. How on earth can we be getting the same set list? Do I detect laziness? I know he has staples(and some damn good ones) but this isn't a GNR situation where he's got to include at least 10 mega hits in the set. Change it up for crying out loud.

No tour dates here yet but like you I wont be going if its basically the same thing as five years ago. Not wasting whats left of my hearing on an identical show.

Holy shit...Bri is right. I didn't listen to that vid I posted last night yet, I just checked out Soothsayer.

:20-:35 and :52-:55 to anyone that doesn't want to hear the whole song.

He is definitely taking liberties with the material. Tehnically he has always done this but it is too noticeable now. When you're fucking around with your set's big enchilada to that degree, something is wrong.  He's almost ruining this song.

I gotta listen to a whole show tonight. I want to hear the portion of Crash Victim he plays.

I don't know what his issue is but he's definitely NOT catering these shows to hardcore fans. They will notice this stuff immediately. You're also right about the tone. It sounds a tad off. I'll have to hear more before judging that too harshly.

HOnestly as much as I love Soothsayer I'd rather he play a newer track in its place if he's going to do that with the song.

Last night in Chicago he had a big technical issue and ended his show after an hour. Glad I didn't go.

Oh wow. I would have been cussing him out had something like that happened in Frisco.

He is so secretive that fans can barely even guess what is going on. He's fucking around with songs, now we've got technical difficulties ending shows quickly...what's next?
