Re: Ideal Setlist Part 1: Don't Cry vs. Patience

I voted Patience.

It's a bit cynical though to suggest either of your two of your big hits should ever be dropped. Both should be permanent set-list staples.

Which would you prefer?

Don't Cry 62%
Patience 38%
Total votes: 29

I love DC but it's not even close or a tough decision. Patience.

Patience...the outro is just too good and perfect for crowd participation

Patience. Another, like Coma, with a great outro.

Not too fussed, so I went with Don't Cry for sentimental reasons. I hope they play it with Izzy and Adler some day...

Yeah tough choice. As I've said before, it shows how strong their discography really is when you can rotate two of your biggest hits.

I went with DC.

Honestly for fucks sake cut the crap. Put patience back in rotation. It's not even funny. It's sweet child/paradise/jungle/patience. It's unfuckwithable.
Another sign they've taken over Axls brain.

I was a little disappointed when they didn't do Patience in New Orleans since it looked like they were rotating from show to show and did DC in Orlando the prior show.  DC sounded great though...I wouldn't take it out.  I'd take The Seeker out of the encore and do both Patience and DC.

I'd also take out Better...which seemed like most people's bathroom break song and add something like Think About You or Locomotive.  Then it'd be near perfect "to me."

Agree. Makes me literally sick thinking how The Seeker is untouchable and we have to "hope" patience is played. Patience in Atlanta was awesome.
