What do you feel?

Was wondering also if we could get a compilation going of sorts of great vocals from him from both sets of years?

2006 without a doubt.

That was the time everything should have happened....a quick album release which leads to a reunion.

He had essentially recaptured his prime and his updated look was bad ass.

While he was on fire briefly during the reunion 2016-17, it was never the same after 2006.

There's probably some good stuff in 2009-10 but I no longer cared at that point.

Overall I would give it to 2006 for total performances, but on specific songs/moments of songs then there's some impressive stuff in the asian leg of the 2009 tour particularly.

Eg There was a time in Tokyo 2009 nails the super high parts live.

From memory there's also some impressive If the world and TIL versions in that era.

But on the "every show" GNR songs like PC and Jungle etc then I would give it to 2006 over 2009. But they are both epic.

However Axl 2006 was fantastic ... voice, aesthetics ... everything. Even in 2018 I liked him ... now he's aged both vocally and physically. And too short hair doesn't help. Axl like Samson?
