I've listened to it 4 times. Not really blowing me away. It's too repetitive. Yeah it's heavy...too much heavy.

Once you've heard a few of the songs... you've heard em all.

72 Seasons
Screaming Suicide
Lux Æterna
If Darkness Had a Son
Inamorata

The standouts so far IMO.

I'll listen to it a few more times before moving on.

What concert was that?

Edit. Yeah, the one for Johnny Z, who put out their first album.

They selected songs only from the first two albums. Great setlist!

Meanwhile, they kicked off their world tour in Amsterdam as well, and had a pretty good setlist for that too.

The Ecstasy of Gold (intro)
Orion Intro
Orion
For Whom the Bell Tolls
Holier Than Thou
King Nothing
Lux Æterna
Screaming Suicide
Fade to Black
Sleepwalk My Life Away
Nothing Else Matters
Sad but True
The Day That Never Comes
Ride The Lightning
Battery
Fuel
Seek & Destroy
Master Of Puppets

Yeah....that's a very interesting set list. A literal smorgasbord.

A nice tight set and I like how they are dispersing the big songs between both shows.

Ecstasy of Gold intro is just bad for a Metallica show. They could do the Sesame Street theme song and it would sound less out of place. Totally different energies.

Yeah, they’ve only been opening all of their shows for over 40 years with Ecstasy, but they should probably stop because you think it sounds “out of place” 10

It’s actually a great build up and tension builder, for the big metal show to come.

Yeah that's amazing.

I never realized until now how a band could improve its set list by splitting it into two dates.

It allows you to spread out your big hits and focus more on other areas of your discography.

It probably feels more special to the crowd as well.

Had another listen last night. This just isn't floating my boat. If I had to grade it...I'll give it a C+. An A for effort but it's simply too repetitive for repeated listening in my house.

I'll be tossing the disc in my closet.
