Wow YCBM sounds dreadful. Needs to be retired - Axl simply can’t sing it. Band and mix sound all over the place too

Yeah...I think a handful of songs should be tossed in the dustbin.

I've said it since seeing them in 2017...the set needs to be shortened a bit. This might help his voice too.

It's not 1991....no one needs 3 hour shows. 99% of the crowd is there to hear Jungle, SCOM, NR, and PC... pretend it's 87-91 for a moment and drink a few beers.

I know lengthy sets has always been an aspect of the GNR brand but they really need to change it.

Yep.  He wasn't awful.  I did enjoy the Slash NR outro, that was great.  I'm still surprised at how much people seem to love KOHD.  I always preferred the AFD lineup version without the slow downs.

If they're really on the verge of releasing 1-2 new songs, they should drop both Hard School and Absurd.

In the 2020s and beyond, this is all a GNR show needs....

Jungle
SCOM

Rotate a couple AFD songs

Patience

KOHD...and like Slashsfro said, take it old school

Civil War
YCBM
LALD
NR

Rotate a few of the other UYI singles

Rotate a couple Duff TSI covers

Whatever new song they're promoting

One CD song if necessary

PC

Boom....there's the show.

Drop ALL the unnecessary covers....it's obvious it's only done to alleviate their own boredom. There's better ways to achieve this.

Well im back from the pub and watching bits and pieces, looks ands sounds good to me, Axl a bit buried in mix at start but performance wise so far there kinda nailing it a bit(for what they can in 2023).

I cant fully judge as I aint seen it all yet , but this was a test that they seemed to have passed. I dont think some realized what a big deal Glasto is, look at that crowd.....notice how reece aint bouncing around and duff looks serious as fuck? That's pressure folks, but so far from what ive seen they are meeting it. Good week to be a fan
