He says Frank is a lovely guy…then says Adler was basically the best drummer for GnR and also backhand compliments Matt. My question is this…what happened after 9 years to make the change? Do Duff and Slash have more power? Add in Axl being vocally pissed at Isaac for the Brownstone fuck up. I’m feeling we are seeing the last of this touring entity.

I don't think it's more complicated than them not wanting to make a fuzz when the reunion got started, but as they've settled in they feel more confident to make demands. In the beginning Axl would have been fearful of relinquishing too much control in the band but is probably more comfortable now.
