Odd story
When I was doing my website years ago, people thought I was a trader, which I wasn't. I heard 10-15 seconds of that song from someone who thought I had other songs, which I didn't.
I don't remember much, but I think I'd know it if I heard it

We did our website and we annoyed people, but I wasn't wanting to get into trouble back then. A few things came our way like that

This is definitely hypocritical coming from me of all people but i have to ask are you sure this person was in a position to verify (cough Merck cough) and did they verify the title ?
The timeline is definitely accurate so no question there.
What about a description.
I remember i had atlas back in the day and when people asked for a description post reunion i described it as November rain meets Scraped. People knew about the November rain description thanks to a rolling stone article but the scrapped description i think was incredibly accurate.

No writing credits yet. Officially they're credited as written collectively by "Guns N' Roses" but we'll get an idea when the publishing shares appear on SESAC, GMR and maybe ASCAP (depends on who has got a credit).
The credits that are on Spotify and on YouTube that list names of band members and Brain, Robin etc. are not songwriting credits, but about who plays on the song and who produced/mixed it.

I asked and appreciates your response because someone told me a week ago Nothin' was Down By The Ocean. Obviously the information can be wrong and if you trust your source which seem very reputable i withdraw my Nothin' being Down By The Ocean claim. Obviously you have a better source and i know you're a reputable poster.

Ha. It was a short clip a long time ago. It really wasn't that exciting, but it didn't sound like Nothing.

ehh, not a big fan. Kindof a 'Worst Of' with My World vibes, Chinese Democracy direction, and lacks rage & explosion. Very formulaic. Good solo, and the early Pearl Jam style guitar licks following are pretty good and help salvage the mess.
Gets better, maybe it'll take a couple listens but not sure this ones for me.
