GnR release a re-recorded Chinese Democracy in 6 months or release an entirely brand new album in 6 years?

Honestly neither. I would be interested in a boxset of unreleased stuff from all eras but that's it I think. CD rerecorded seems more likely than a new album. It would take them longer than 6 years to make an album from scratch and the process would probably just rip the band apart again & if that happens it's over.

No because it wouldn't happen like that. None of the songs are rerecorded. It's just Slash and Duff exchanging Finck and Tommy's parts for their own. TWAT with Slash is not going to sound better.

Obviously you can't do much with Axl, but I would rather they go in and replace all the music if they rerecord it. So I say album in 6 years.

What I really want is a demo box set and the rerecorded AFD. That could be interesting.

Neither as well for me.  Re recorded CD just sounds stale because we’ve already heard it in various stages of completion during that time frame (late 90s-2000s).

And lol at the six years to complete an album bs.  There is no reason why any band now should take that long to complete one album.

Axl would probably like about 10 percent of whatever Sash Duff and Fortus bought in at first. It would probably result in them then having to write 70 or 80 songs of which he would think maybe 3 could use work. Slash would get restless and go on tour, so would Duff & if anything was ever released from the sessions it would probably be an album of 8 covers and one original song. It's just never going to happen.

I think it would just be 1994 all over again
