i read that in most of the tracks Sean Beavan recorded Axl vocals, that means these vocals are from 98-2000? damn man, i can't understand the delay, what a waste of everything, it's just stupid...why Axl why..

Re: Chinese Democracy Liner Note Discussions *EXTREME SPOILERS*

I had my suspicions about the vocals because every time a new version of a pre-leaked song showed up, the instrumentals would be a bit different - but the vocals were ALWAYS the same, like they were just using the same vocal track for each demo. I.R.S. leaked about three different times and there were no differences in vocals. Every Better leak also had identical vocals. And the vocals on the new Catcher in the Rye sound identical to the old demo, which was rumoured to be around 1998/1999 because that's when Brian May stopped by the studio.

It's weird to think that he's using ten-year-old vocal tracks for some of these songs.

Yeah, we're really starting to see that the delays seemed to be more based on personal issues for Axl than any attempt at making "the perfect record". Like you guys pointed out, these vocals are as old as the saga itself.

We get all this information, and it creates more questions than it gives answers.

What did you expect? Axl nailed it on the first take. It's all these other bozos in the band that have taken another decade to get their parts right! 9

Its pretty obvious this was just thrown together.  Hell, there's not even a band photo. In a decade they couldn't sit down and take a picture?

The whole thing is just bizarre.

Do you think they could even get a lense wide enough to fit all these people in the picture?

Seriously though, who do you put in the pictures at this point.  They probably didn't really have any idea how to go about it.  Do you try to get everyone who appears on the album in a photo?  Just the most recent touring lineup?  The biggest contributers?

I don't mean this as talking shit, but it's just another reason why this is a solo project not a band.  I still can't fucking wait.
