A long time ago someone told me about a site in the UK that streamed old tv shows. I thought I had it bookmarked, but I don't. I think it was on my old comp. Anyone remember the site, or something similar?

There are hordes of websites were you can stream hordes of US TV programs/Movies.

I don't bother with Digital over here anymore, because you can everything online within a day of its showing...

www.movieforumz.com (Download and find streams for TV programs, you don't have to sign up)
www.movieflix.com
www.free-tv-video-online.info
www.moviesfoundonline.com/movies.php
www.flickthat.com
www.veoh.com (You Have To Download Veoh Player To Watch All The Movies)
http://www.ssupload.com/ (Download and find streams for TV programs, you have to sign up)
http://www.watchfilms.com (Older Movies)

www.sidereel.com (I use this site alot when watching Heroes ect... Not all the shows have streams, just the ones that keep getting updated)

Then there is the youtube like sites, that can be a little relaxed on how long they take to remove something... (Not necessarily useful)

www.guba.com
www.stage6.com

http://www.fnuz.com/ (This site is a search engine for streaming like google, just not as good)

^ These are just a few examples, if your looking for something in particular just say...

With stuff like this around, I say Fuck Torrents.

I think the one you mean James is/was tv-links.com, however it's since been closed down, so your best going with one of Ataris sites above.

Wow Atari, I didn't know there were that many. Yeah, I think it was tv-links APE, which got shut down a few weeks ago. There's also www.videostored.com and http://www.fancast.com/videos

EDIT - I just checked & it looks like videostored.com was also shut down. Guess the movie studio's are being proactive & don't want to suffer DVD sales & rental losses the way cd sales tanked.

alluc.org is good definately.  I watch stuff on that all the time.  Someone just sent me www.cucirca.com as they watched Heroes on it - but that might be for us slow Brits that dont get US progs as fast! No idea what its like myself

I remember talking to you (james) about tv-links.co.uk in the evolution chatroom when it first opened smile It had a blue/white design, may be the one your thinking of.

As mentioned though its since been closed down and the admin arrested (last i heard). I don't see why they are closing down sites that simply links to videos. Must be too scared to go after the big boys like Youtube. It's easier to go after sites that don't have Googles team of high paid lawyers, and closing down small sites must still look good on bullshit reports sad

This whole subject pisses me off hmm
