With the recent Fortus interview now I think more music is going to be released.

It would be nice to get Atlas/Soul Monster this year instead of having to wait til 2025.

Here is a cover that does deserve to be back in the setlist.

The other two clips from that soundcheck didn't sound like either The General or Oklahoma.

Probably wishful thinking, but I think they'd fit more to Oklahoma than to what we can hear on the cell phone recording of The General.

Anyone have a link to the exact clip I'm referring to? There's too many clips online.

Here it is:

(soundcheck in Buenos Aires, Sept. 30, 2022)

And the other two clips from soundcheck in Porto Alegre (Sept. 26, 2022):

I can see these three clips being the outro of The General.

I want the CD era to come to an end but that would require releasing everything that’s left

I want it to end too...for closures sake and it went on too long.

Where we differ is I don't need everything that's left.

The General

Oklahoma
Soul Monster

Maybe toss in Seven as a bonus track and I'm ready to ride off into the sunset.

Is the fan base truly ready for it to end? Nothing is likely to come other than 87-93 archive releases after they've officially closed the door on Chinese.

This fan base doesn't even know what it's like to not have a carrot dangled in its face.

Crazy thing is it's possible the low key release of The General is them quietly shutting the door.

I wish they could talk like a normal band.

I'm starting to think songs like Soul Monster, Seven, and Berlin are not going to see the light of day.

If Atlas Shrugged were to be released in November, the b-side is probably going to be OMG.

I would rather the b-side be Soul Monster with Atlas of course.

To get those songs listed above a locker type event like 2019 would have to happen again.

Yeah there has to be some sort of plan for that song...as crazy as the possibility sounds.

There's no other reason to bring that song back...

1. It's getting a release...even if only a B side or album deep cut.

Wait, let me get this straight. You're linking Oh My God being on a setlist from 2018 to it being the B side for Atlas Shrugged if that is released in November as rumoured?

Or is there more to this?

I forgot which song it happens during in the set but the lyrics appear on the screen. Then take info account we know it was worked on after 1999...that awful leak with Ron on it.

It could be anything attached to Atlas if that's indeed coming next...but OMG has to be considered a possibility.

The lyrics from OMG are on the screen during You Could Be Mine when its played live.

Just thought I would say State of Grace and The General are not the same song.

Here is The General from a 2006 concert intro.

The 3:14 to 3:40 mark sounds cool.

I just listened to it and their is a new vocal take from Axl.

Slash and Robin are both on the solo.
