Wow, absolutely professional work. It has never sounded this good before.
And I never made the Halloween connection, but you are right. That makes total sense.
Thanks man, I'm hoping I can isolate the Beltrami stuff from the studio version if it's still there when it comes out.
Not to bothered about the lack of digital release tbf, ive bought the 7" and will just download a rip when one appears. Still cant believe it's coming out in the first place. I find it hard to believe it won't be out there digitally someday somehow

Seeing as the live intro's have been pulled down everywhere here is my mix of it. Made from all bootleg versions i could find so that i could make the longest version I could. Sounds evil as fuck. It's not perfect but better than I thought I would get.

I listened to a rough mix this morning as I walked around a creepy castle near where I live. Serious horror movie vibes, no wonder it's coming out round halloween.

Give me the 2002 line up and I would throw money at that. Album, shows the lot
#374 Re: Guns N' Roses » Limited edition greatest hits vinyl on the way » 139 weeks ago
Given that it's limited to 3000 and just a collectors thing I think i'm less annoyed than I would be if this were a huge thing that you could buy in shops ect tbf. But sitting hardschool next to those songs must make the production sound even worse.

Videos of The General are being removed from youtube and soundcloud
That could be a sign of it being released this month
Same thing happened with Perhaps before it was released
That's good news.
Didn't MSL guess the 22nd of September for The General?. That's next Friday, may be worth checking this link every now and then
https://gunsnroses.lnk.to/thegeneral hopefully at some point it doesn't lead to a 404

I suspect there is fiction in both there writing.
Back on topic does anyone think there is anything to this claim that Dtune and Circus Maximus were both combined to make Seven? Iv'e had a play around and I cant make them work together at all. Allegedly it's something Fortus said in a facebook Q&A

Oklaholma has Sitar on it during the intro.
Yeah but the general is actually getting released.
He had a question and I answered it

I do recall reading one of his books on GNR a long time ago i forget the name of it. But there was nothing as outlandish as blagic magic spells and stuff in there lol. Niven Goldstein and Adler rarely do themselves any favours when they are interviewed. Izzy's far smarter in that regard i think
He has released three GN'R books: one back in 1991 (which just had extended versions of his interviews with band members), a shitty Axl "biography" titled "W.A.R." in 2007 (maybe that's the one you have read?) and another one in 2016/17 titled "The Last Of The Giants", in which he reiterates a lot of the same stuff from the Axl "biography" but there's some additional stuff in it, mainly the quotes from Niven and Goldstein.
It was that one yes, i just found it on my shelf oddly sat next to a copy of Catcher In The Rye that I forgot I owned. As bad as some of the Mick Wall stuff is at least he is a better writer than Del, Now there's a book I struggled to get through
