#31 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Slash and Duff have discussed doing a GNR reunion show » 919 weeks ago

If CD flops, I dont think we'd hear from Axl again, he'd just be the butt of every media joke.

I wouldn't really look forward to this. Sounds like a shitty idea. If a movies gonna be made of GNR it should be a decision made by all the members in agreement. By making this movie Slash would be tampering with the GNR legacy, no matter how he looks at it. It'd just be a way of misleading the general public.

Mine was the 12.99  price tag so I was happy enough.  I don't like the cardboard crap (Black Rain really pissed me off!!) but the music is surprisingly good so I'm satisfied.  Stuck Inside is my favorite tune right now and I think Axl co-wrote it.  This album is good.

I think all Axl did was come up with some lyrics, so they had to credit him

I went to my local Best Buy and they diddn't have it.  I then went across the street to Circuit City and they had 2 copies.  I bought one.

I have to say though, that if Axl wasn' t on this record, I would not have bought it.  It is okay but it's not grand or anything.

A lot of the songs are just to 80s to me.

And I only paid $12.99 for it too, which is very reasonable but the packaging was cheaply done in my opinion but if that keeps the cost down, then cool.

I am curious if Bach goes on tour and does Stuck Inside, I wonder who he will get to sing Axl's parts because again, if Axl wasn't on this record, I wouldn't even have picked it up.

12.99 is a rip off, though the major record companies have kept it quiet, most major new releases recently have been 9.99 across the board. So its no excuse for shitty packaging.

I was thinking of going and getting the album today, but I dont think I'll waste my time. Its probably wont even be on the shelves with the new releases.

2 -5 copies for each store? WTF?

If a person walks into store and sees 50 or so copies of an album, they'll pick it up if they recognize the name. They're not gonna walk over to the S section, see Sebastian Bach, see one copy of an album, and think "this is a new release, I might buy it."

Bull shit move.

I'd like to seem some cool forum skins to go with th existing ones, like a duff one, or a slash one.

and it still hasn't been center aligned, really pisses me off.

So he had 2 or 3 days of work left, and in the last 365 days he hasn't put in a weekends worth of work?

After reading that again now, I find that hard to believe.

Thats what worries me. If the 2000-04 lineup with all that potential and great material cant get one record to materialize, how can the current lineup do it? While opinions vary, I consider the current lineup a serious downgrade from the 01-02 lineup(no offense Ron). They are basically walking into a house with the foundation built by other guys(the 01 lineup), yet are no closer to the promised land either. I also dont think whatever lineup does finally release this record should get all the credit.

I think both lineups are about equal, considering you get an Axl that can actually sing in the 06-07 lineup.
