Update on Superman Lives Doc:

Director Jon Schnepp is shooting for a late March, early April 2015 release date. Only a few days left for the recreation scenes stretch of the final finishing funds. The recreation scenes involve taking the concept art and planned shooting or CG animation sequences that were supposedly to be created for the actual movie and make them up as close to Burton's and production team's vision as possible. Jon would use some live action, cartoon hand drawn animation, maybe 3D CG modeling techniques, or even stop motion for a few picked scenes. Right now he wants to do them; but only has the money to do one or maybe two for the documentary.

I really don't like Baz as a director. I don't mind his visual style; but the way he directs his actors and adapts a story is extremely messy and unfocused. This is like the third or fourth film that he has promised to be working on. He left a couple ones particularly the Bioshock movie which wouldn't have worked as a movie or with him behind the camera to begin with. I really enjoyed Saving Mr. Banks. Thought it well produced, lots of talent given a ton to work with (especially Thompson and Hanks), and the story extremely humorous and heart felt to boot. I'm open to an Elvis bio pic that covers the whole spectrum though. There are going to have to find the right guy. A diamond in the rough.

Yeah I'm getting the same vibe! I honestly thought the case was AFDem, CD follow up, maybe the remix album to cover some costs, a little more touring in other areas, and then whatever contract or deal Axl made with Universal, Jimmy Iovine, or who ever the fuck would be dealt with. Didn't know it was a third full album in the deal as well. Then he could go independent or casually release the rest of the vault's sessions (if that doesn't already have alot of legal red tape and money all over it.) to the fans and general public if he wants. Then make new piano music or ideas with DJ, Pitman, Dizzy, and such.
