We went knee-deep into what CD2 was supposed to be here.
The stuff Tommy considered non-consequential may be more EDM-tinged.
Like this.
In the Dexter chats, Axl said the song now has "a lot of guitars, lots of different drum the chorus is gone."
A world of difference. Hopefully, evader can put his remix back up for comparison.

I do agree with that and that's how it's been since '99.
Sean Beavan and Josh Freese have confirmed 30ish songs on the A-list.
Axl has confirmed he's always had the songs to produce two separate albums.
All these claims built up to verify both the rough amount of actual songs and CD2.
What has confused people a lot has been the existence of the B-List.
That has been all about loops, sketches and ideas since Moby's visit in '97.
Axl even went to confirm an all-around number of songs (70!!) to Kurt Loder.
The sketchy nature of the B-List is what contributed to the Vault as a library of Axlandria.

He finally told us how many songs are left in the Chinese vault. 22.
The number of tracks (new mainly to you
) is also consistent with what Axl said in 2006.
He made the remarks in joint of that ray of light statement 'People will hear music this year.'
"We're working on 32 songs, and 26 are nearly done," he says.
Of those, 13 are slated for the final album. -RS
32 - 13 = 19
22 - 19 = 3
3 tracks included in the CD2 song pool since early 2006.

He's not going to compromise himself, his family, his friends, or his bandmates to do it the way he sees fit.
On the best of days, it can go like this.
On the worst of days, however...
Anyone else can be thrown under the bus in the heat of the moment in the world of Axl Rose.

Axl is mentally unstable in the sense that he can tune out as quick as he can tune in.
Furthermore, he has the habit of mulling things over in his own mind until they get big.
At worst, this leads to excitement going sour and him flying off the handle for being 'pressured'.
When you give this sort of person power over something like Guns, you're in for a ride.
He gives zero fucks about the monetary investments or the workload of others if it comes to that.
At worst, it all boils down to an 'out ta get me' attitude and temper tantrums; charming for a 50-yo.
That's what you get when your inner circle keeps you cuddled for decades and calls you a genius.
Too bad he's lived single with Brazilians for so long, an offspring would've forced him out of his shell.
Now, it just seems his journey towards emotional maturity is stumped and hindered by his stature. Too bad.

Even so, I fail to see how having an altercation with Sorum should stop him from appearing on a to show to promote a gig??
Matt called him out on being out of shape. Axl canceled Kimmel and went ballistic on Matt in the process.
Maybe.

Duff said that his wife getting pregnant made his decision to leave very easy. I think he just needed to get away from the huge rock band thing altogether.
From what I recall from Duff's book, he was very fresh into the relationship with his future wife at the time.
They had a holiday in late '96, when Slash had just left and Axl'd sent out his infamous fax to MTV.
Early '97. Robin is enlisted. Duff plays with him a few times. Guns is in a flux.
Duff learns his girlfriend is pregnant with his baby. Time for a rethink.
He opted to become a family man. By the looks of it, he made a good call.

God knows how long Steven's body will truck on.
I'd expect Adler to be in Coachella. In the backstage, at least.

Axl didn't fire one person to make way for anyone. Slash really just replaced Ashba
Yup, now you're calling a spade a spade
Dave will be the 3rd guy. That was the bone Axl threw Slash.
To be fair, we're still waiting on Kushner to maybe become an FX guitarist.
That still amounts to a Mitch Lafon tweet, albeit he seems to know things.
Guns N Roses is just Slash and Axl.
The general public views it as such. This is the way it's always been.
Coachella would still be a 'reunion' in the media even without Duff.
Fanbase opinions, despite how well founded, are a drop in the ocean.
GNR fans will be deprived a proper reunion.
Again, for the biz this is a reunion; Axl and Slash renew wedding wovs.
Keep in mind that the AFD 5 was a highly volatile and unstable group.
Adler is just picking his life up again and hoping to convince Slash and Duff.
Axl had a public hate-on for Slash in '09 and snubbed a reunion in '12.
Izzy is still waiting to see what happens, even if he's surely been called.
Getting Axl and Slash on the same stage after 23 years is a huge development.
People need insurance. If they can keep it together, things can grow.
An AFD 5 reunion is the next big thing to sell if the initial stage goes well.

happiness is a warm SSL,,, been a very creative year. I wanna thank Capn Crunch
He's been busy editing and sifting through CD vault demos most likely.
If happiness is a Secure Sockets Layer in relation to a mixing desk, it does look like he's been transferring digital music just now.
That would imply his work is done.
Axl would've been smart to have used the downtime between Vegas and the Coachella annoucement on CD2 stuff.
