I was soo let down by The Mole starring Clint Eastwood. Just a moronic cookie cutter plot with nothing extraordinary happening to pull you in. Its entirely a lame plotline that if you know what the movies about, happens as lamely as you can envision. Was surprised they were trying to push this as an Academy Award contender. Terrible. I hoped it would be epic. He was ok in it, essentially the same old grouchy guy thats in Grand Tourino.

I heard some interesting theories lately that trump doesn’t want to solve the immigration issues because he needs that to rally his rabid base. Everything he’s doing is designed to inflame the situation every now and again to keep his voters charged.

Oh I think that's totally what it is. Same thing as the Muslim ban crisis where he implemented it overnight. TF?  Couldn't wait a week or 30 days for vacationers. Same thing with Mexico. When the Barr summary came out he was 'Going to fix healthcare'  then when Repubs told him they won't/can't he came back to this Mexico crisis.

Yeah, AOC would be an interesting one to trace income & earnings while in office.

As for Trump, I think every President since Nixon released theres, so the precedent has been set. In fact I may be wrong on this but it mightve started with Carter with ppl upset over his peanut farms or something, so he released them to show what he had assets in.

Yeah, Ive heard 2 things on Trump, he's not as rich as he portrays him. Being more of a RE broker who pools money together from the wealthy (ie. Wealthy Russians) to invest in property. So Trump Tower could have 100 owners in a REIT, and he's 5% owner. The name has value, like Hilton, plus he's sortof the salesman, and gets a commission so to speak.

The other thing, that Hillary referenced in the debates, is that Trump pays $0 in taxes. This I actually believe to be true, one way or the other. But she theorized an obscure bankruptcy law where ones writeoff or something, can be written off over 20 years. So lets say he filed for 1 billion, can spread that off over 20 years. That, plus buying jets, burning jet fuel. Having a business lunch in Paris, Melania flying to Moscow to discuss Miss Universe etc. And any final monies owed just donate to the Trump Foundation.

I dont find it hard to believe, at all, he pays $0. I am unsure if his base still wouldve voted for him had they known this. Although, Hillary herself told them this but it fell on deaf ears so yeah they probably would have.

^^ Curious about this. The timing and current climate in the US today. Are they making an example of him for his involvement in affecting the 2016 election, or are they trying to get him to sing.

I realize it's about the 2010 leaks, but again the fact it happens in 2019.

If somebody had told me that I'd be in Vegas one day, with the original GnR (for the most part) playing a show, and I chose to skip it, I never would have believed it. But at that point, I just wasn't that excited and for the price of the tickets I could have had a few lavish nights out on the town.

I can see that, I'm sorta the same. I saw the NITLT in 2016, great show. Loved it. They came back around to nearby Hershey, PA the following year. Probably 90 minutes away. Nice summer night in August. I didn't go. Nope. Just saw them already. I forget if they played indoor stadiums one winter, regardless didn't go.

If they tour let's say 2020, maybe I would see them, but probably only if they released some sort of new material. Otherwise, on principal, I just couldn't I don't think.

I'll never understand why these people throw themselves on the sword for Trump. One after the other. But here we are. This is a national crisis IMO.

I don't get it either. I mean, I get those who initially signed up, Kelly, Mattis, Sessions etc... Thinking 'Hey, a GOP President. Let's hop onboard'. But the people leaving every 12 months is telling. I'm surprised Barr didn't speak with Kelly or Tillerson and ask whats it like in the WH. It's my belief they would've definitely told him "Stay Away!".

Unless he's some anti Dem, fight to death for the GOP type. Doesn't seem it so much, I would picture a Newt Gingrich or Karl Rove more along those lines, but who knows. Maybe some higher ups persuaded him to join & end this as best he can.

I agree he's walking on thin ice. At what point could HE be considered obstructing, if indeed there's some serious items being covered up. He'll also have to watch it with his redactions. I think he's beginning to know it'll leak one way or the other. And probably fairly soon. If not thru the courts, someone has it. And it'll get to the press via 'Deepthroat'.

It's difficult to gauge.

Food for thought: Axl has recorded a new song and although it is not GN'R, it means he has been in a studio, with staff, and recorded vocals. I think I have identified the studio, but I will keep that to myself so I can follow staff chatter to pick up anything else.

April is the next month for movements, so I will follow chatter then. There were some cocksure December comments that imply there will be a continued momentum with GN'R this year. Slash has a one off tour date in November next year which implies plans will happen beyond then

The band have learnt not to leave any footprints on the net, which makes it harder to find anything.

Oh well, April happened so I don't need to sniff around. Second half on November is the next milestone, so I'll check in then.

Might wanna just skip a year

lol, I get a kick out of occasionally telling people I post on or read someones OT story on a message board, sometimes adding in "a guns n roses message board I go to".  They almost stare at me like 'There's Guns n Roses message boards??..... Why?'

#1480 Re: Guns N' Roses » 2019 tour date announced » 371 weeks ago

lol. One show, and its a concert of about my 10 most hated bands on the bill. Seriously, I don't think I could've planned a worse lineup.

If it were closer I'd consider it, and just go at about 9 o'clock at night to see Guns. Have a good time if any of you go.
