Are these really all the tour dates?  There seem to be a complete lack of west coast dates.  The closest they come is Denver (not really that close).

They should do Sailing again.  That was an incredible cover.

^ That's true for every artist at the moment though.

Not every artist is talking about the possibility of re-releasing an album few people wanted in the first place either...

So would people want an album of all new songs then?

Was it really 13 new songs though?  I believe more than half that album had been heard a few times before... 16

His Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas is amazingly beautiful/haunting though.

That's the only good one.  IF he had done the rest of the album like that song, it would have been good.

I don't know who the fuck thought this would possibly sound good.

Poor Bing Crosby.

White Christmas and I'll Be Home For Christmas are the worse ones.  None of them are good.

It was either this thread title or "SW Puts Out Worst Christmas Album Ever", Or "SW Makes Jesus Cry" 16

Pearl Jam To Get Their Own Beer – Dogfish Head Brews ‘Faithfull Ale'

Pearl Jam have branched out to all sorts of mediums in celebration of their 20th anniversary: literature, film, music — now Dogfish Ale Craft Brewery is putting them in a bottle with ‘Faithfull Ale’.

Okay so maybe they won’t be in the bottle literally, but later this month the beer crafted in honor of the band’s milestone will be available for purchase. The Delaware based brewer post the following press release on their website:

“Faithfull Ale is a celebration of Pearl Jam’s 20th anniversary as a band and its extraordinary debut album, “Ten.” In recognition of these milestones, this Belgian-style golden ale is delicately hopped to 20 IBUs and fruit-forward from 10 incremental additions of black currants over a one-hour boil. Faithfull will clock in at 7% ABV.

“To me, ‘Ten’ is the perfect example of a record-lover’s-record. The whole thing rocks,” says Dogfish Head President & Founder Sam Calagione. “As an off-centered brewery, we believe in celebrating the breadth of our whole portfolio and we feel an affinity for Pearl Jam a long-player band in a singles-obsessed world.”

Dogfish Head also finds inspiration in Pearl Jam’s ethics, community-building and commitment to putting music before commerce. In recognition of this refreshing approach, Dogfish is donating $20,000 to The Nature Conservancy to aide in its efforts to preserve the plants, animals and natural communities that represent the diversity of life on Earth.

Dogfish Head is also re-releasing its previous collaborations with Sony Legacy: the Miles Davis-inspired Bitches Brew and the Robert Johnson shoutout Hellhound on My Ale. All three collaborations will be available this month in 750-ml bottles and on draft.

We plan to send Faithfull Ale to all states in which we currently do business, pending each state’s approval.”

The name ‘Faithfull Ale’ is taken from the song ‘Faithfull’, An examination of people’s reliance on religious faith from Pearl Jam’s 1998 album ‘Yield’. Pearl Jam are currently working on their tenth studio album with long time producer Brendan O’ Brien.

Why play 2 ACDC covers and not play anything remotely new.

I think most people would be happy if they added Oh My God instead of so many covers.

Who else wants to see Tommy do One Man Mutiny?

BLS, Mastadon and Steel Panther should all be higher on that list.  Definitely above Limp Bizkit, Hole, A Day To Remember, Trivium, Lost Prophets, Angels and Airwaves... etc.
