For what it's worth, I think Axl doesn't actually do these interviews. I think it's "Management"

I said that a while ago...it sounds like someone trying to sound like Axl.  My guess is they answer all the questions and run it by him really quickly - and the only answers he might have changed were the long winded ones.

I chose side b, but only because TWaT is the only song I'm interested in hearing.

I've only seen Guns 3 times, 02, 06, and 11. Never got to see the originals with Axl, just with Myles in Cleveland. But I have seen Bucket and Robin. No Paul though, but does he count?

I guess it depends on who you ask.

I missed BH and Robin - could have gone in 2002 but decided I wasn't interested after the VMAs.  In retrospect I wish I had gone (much like I wish I had gone to see VR) if for nothing else than to say I've seen that version too.  Maybe we should do a tours we wished we had gone to thread (not just GnR)...

LOL - I bet he gets half of his ideas of what not to do from what we come up with for them to do.

Punk as mother fucker I guaran dam tee you thought some 80's virtuoso played Slash's lead parts.  Fuck him.  That bullshit rumor came from little jealous fucks that can't beleive he played that Paradise City outro solo or SCOM.

I think he's proven over the years that either he played them or he learned how to play them note for note pretty quickly...and Slash doesn't seem like a learned how to play it all note for note pretty quickly kind of guy.

To be fair, soon wasn't really the word before either.

London, England () -- Singer Justin Bieber kept thousands of fans and their tired, outraged parents up way past their bedtime Monday after arriving on stage nearly two hours late for a sold out show at London's O2 Arena.

Bieber was greeted by choruses of boos from the sell-out crowd amid scenes of tearful devastation as scores of sobbing school-aged "Beliebers" were hauled away minutes into the singer's set by parents desperate to catch last trains home on a school night.

Sleep-deprived fans and their parents, many of whom shelled out more than $150 a ticket for the gig, lent new meaning to the term "Bieber fever" as they blasted the 19-year-old Canadian pop idol in Twitter tantrums as "lame" and "disgusting" following last night's debacle.

Impatient fans waiting for the so-called "Prince of Pop" were further enraged by the apparent constant repetition of the King of Pop's greatest hits ahead of Bieber's set.

But for many fans all was forgiven when, in typically understated fashion, the singer finally fluttered onto the stage attached to a huge set of wings before eventually taking his top off to the delight of throngs of screaming Beliebers.

Maybe it was all the screaming and crying, or maybe it was that he didn't make it on stage until about a half hour before he was supposed to finish, but there were more than a few fans with Bieber hangovers today -- although for a lucky handful with cool parents, it did have its side benefits.

Bieber took to Twitter and his 35 million-plus followers to apologize, calling last night's delay inexcusable, and pledged to be on time for his next London gig on Tuesday.

I don't think Ron will ever have to worry about lack of work as long as his health and skills hold up.  You can debate his fit (or necessity) in GnR if you want, but there's no discounting the guy's talent.

#1860 Re: Guns N' Roses » Gn'R Live In London Sat. March 2nd VH1 » 688 weeks ago

I don't really think they care tbh.  At this point I think Axl is doing everything he can to cash out on this band without getting anything to Slash because it's related to the old band.  Everybody is talking about moving forward and recording and whatever else, but it's never coming from Axl or management.  I suspect he'll milk this as long as he can and if he never gets what he wants from the record company to move forward (which he won't), then he will tap into the old stuff when he needs that money because the new band isn't profitable anymore.

I have no proof to support it, it's just a hunch based on the activity (or inactivity).
