Reading the opinion, it's interesting how much Alito focuses on the arguments of McDonald and Heller as example of rights having historical acceptance and foundation in the country, while abortion was illegal in nearly every state and under common law until Roe was decided.  In short, those who believe the constitution doesn't provide an individual right to own a firearm but does confer an individual right to an abortion are pulling that statement out of thin air with no historical support.

On Page 23 the majority opinion also states that only one sex can give birth.  Very interested if this will be used in the inevitable court case that is spurred from Title IX and other efforts to attempt to make a distinction between sex and gender with no historical basis in common law or the American constitution.

Well, Roe V Wade is overturned.  I haven't read the new opinion to see how it differs from the draft opinion, but with Alito being the author still I'm going to assume not much.  Expect a bad weekend.

I have no interest in any of the spin offs to include this one and House of The Dragon.  The way they ended Thrones was just abysmal and unforgivable.  Until Martin gets off his ass and finishes Winds (over 11 years now!), I'm not doing anything to support his love affair with fame in the moment at the expense of his legacy.

It's time to wrap up the Jan 6th stuff. Apparently Democrats in Congress are now admitting that no one really cares about this crap.

Move on...and start focusing on things to help Americans right now.

It really needs to. Not because people should forget that Trump caused it, and defiled 225+ years of a peaceful transfer of power. But because it doesn’t matter in the current priorities.

People who think SCOTUS will even have ruled if Trump can be held liable while as President, let alone score a conviction that would prevent Trump from running in 2024 before 2024, are deluding themselves. If Trump is legally culpable for the mob rioting in the Capitol, that determination is years off, and his legal culpability is anything but a slam dunk.  Having an election worker from Georgia talk about how scared she was makes for good TV, but it has no relevance to January 6th or this committee’s purpose.

WW3 is still a very real possibility, inflation isn’t slowing, gas prices aren’t slowing, our supply chain is fucked, and some economists say we’re on the brink of a recession if not a depression. And House Democrats and the media are focused on January 6th. Not because they really believe any of what they say to the public, but because it’s the only distraction they have to avoid their culpability for all the more important things. They wiggle the mouse, and all the gullible group thinkers follow the misdirection.

The Biden administration just announced they’re going to update Title IX to ensure gender identity is protected in collegiate sports. Never mind the swimming world just “followed the science” and recognized going through male puberty gives a huge advantage.

Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain.

Really, you find the story of Star Wars to not be cliché (take your pick of any of the 6 Lucas driven films), but Cameron's doubly so?  I don't disagree that the Terminator franchise was essentially a shell to demonstrate new film technologies, but I think they were made to entertain, which they accomplished.  Lucas himself has said that Star Wars is a child's story.  And so much of the prequel trilogy was bad CGI Lucas was trying to shoehorn in much like Cameron does (albeit to a much greater success).

Anakin talking about sand is one of the most despised scenes in movie writing history.  Whereas T2 has imbedded many of its dialogue into the public conscious.

To each their own.  I'm excited for Avatar 2.

I don't know why I bother and admit this is a mistake even responding to this clown (and yes, you're a clown), but you have no idea how many firearms I have.  You are in no position to judge what "a lot" is, and you can go fuck yourself for suggesting I plan to harm anyone with my firearms.  Yea, I own some guns I plan to use for legal reasons such as big game hunting (you're much morally superior to me buying your protein on a plastic wrapped  Styrofoam plate).

Reason 5,304 Mitch shouldn't be allowed to continue to post here.  He's called me a white supremacist and said suggested I own guns to harm people in the past 24 hours.  Mitch, if you want to make this personal we can go that way.  But you're not going to be happy with the result.

Hey Mitch, a Battalion is 500-600 soldiers. I couldn’t even arm a squad, which is 6-10 soldiers. But keep flexing those intellectual muscles. Like I said, hyperbole has its place but you’re unable to navigate any of that.

I’ve done shrooms a handful of times, but the first time I did them I watched The Doors. For some reason the idea of someone’s soul jumping inside of me seemed more probable on the Psilocybin.

I finally got around to watching Brightburn. Compared to Injustice or The Boys, it just came across as a lame story.

Dude, you completely downplayed the existence of ANTIFA and remained mum if not defiant that neighborhoods were being burned and people harmed all over the nation.  Over $2 Billion in damage and 26 people killed during the George Floyd protests of 2020 and not once have you condemned it or acknowledge you were outright wrong about nearly every facet of your arguments.  You repeatedly ignored any of the video evidence related to Rittenhouse and "downplayed"  the threat on Kyle's life from a convicted pedophile and 3 other armed convicted felons.  You've downplayed every aspect of Biden's presidency, to include the historic black homicides you profess to be most concerned for.

You told the forum you were worried about a cop shooting your infant son in the back seat.  Something you have no evidence of ever occurring.  Yet when a black infant is shot in the back of a car, your contribution to the board was "He should have been an abortion."  You're completely unhinged, make no effort to be informed or contribute coherent opinions anyone but you can gain anything from, and repeatedly "downplay" any concern or fact that undermines your entirely self-manufactured reality.

You and the media you exclusively outsource your directed outrage from "downplayed" the reality that thousands attempted to breach the White House fence, only to be repelled by a paramilitary force while the President was moved to a security bunker.  You "downplayed" it when Schumer and Pelosi knelt in solidarity with the very same protesters who "threatened" the President's life less than 24 hours later.  The key difference between January 6th and June 1st is that the executive didn't "downplay" the threat and had adequate security in place to respond and negate an attempted breach.  If your party hadn't "downplayed" the violence the preceded January 6th, maybe they wouldn't have "downplayed" the need and offer of extra police and National Guard well before the MAGA nuts stormed the Capitol.

Crenshaw 2024, McCain was a fucking American hero and super patriot, Fuck Trump and all that. But you're in no position to accuse others of "downplaying" anything, let alone refute an objective truth that Dan Crenshaw wasn't assaulted by the morons any more than American Democracy and Biden's ascension to President was in any jeopardy on January 6th.   Hyperbole is a thing and appropriate at times, but any of that nuance is totally lost on you.

*** We return you to your normally scheduled responses of total logical fallacies and incomprehensible rambling ***
