fyi to the people that don't get it:

for the most part, the lyrics in every song written have some sort of meaning to the artist. since the music is for sale and freedom of speech and opinion prevales there is nothing wrong with not liking the lyrics to whatever you hear and communicating those thoughts to others, especially on a forum that deals in music.

as much as i hate nickleback and they would probably not be willing to "open" for gnr, a tour with them would bring gnr definite exposure to a larger and more diverse crowd.

despite the fact that i loathe nickleback.

i think what ereeper is trying to say is if axl is trying to become relevant again on a grand scale and attract new and young fans, touring with baz won't cut it.

omg is an amazing song IMO. i had only heard it live til the other day when i caught the second half of that terrible terrible movie. it sounded polished by any other band's standards but not as produced as we all know axl aims for. i lean on it being unfinished in axl's eyes. i actually think it sounds more raw and heavy the way it is. if gnr keeps 'SR exclusive to the game and releases a  song like 'better to the radio and put the album out soon it would go over fine. what i find odd is that, out of all of the leaks, gnr releases the two most industrial sounding tracks that don't really fit the apparent direction of CD.
