With ITW finally gone, it's getting really difficult for me as I really like all of the remaining songs. I went with Street Of Dreams this time. I still haven't gotten over the fact that it's not called The Blues anymore.

fine by me. I don't think DJ's contribution is needed for any future GN'R release. Plus this way we would at least get to hear what he would have brought to the table.

I kid you not, OMG was the song that got me into GN'R in the first place. I was still pretty young - maybe around 13 years old (my guess is that it was in 2001 or early 2002) - when I first discovered it for myself. I must have had heard some of the hits before, but somehow I hadn't really gotten into them. I found OMG by chance in a MP3 collection my uncle had given to me. I got so hooked by it that I went on to go through all of GN'R's albums trying to find out where it came from. Obviously I found something else. A year later I had ALL solo releases up to that point and half of my lifetime later I'm still here following every bit of news

Those three songs might include some of the stuff Richard mentioned that is based on Slash's own riffs.

As for an album/reunion, I wouldn't mind a CD2, but I don't foresee it. If, and it's a big IF, GnR reunited with the AFD or UYI era (Sorum) and announced it soon, they could definitely being selling dates for next summers tour. Would have to happen soon tho. A Super Bowl reunion would rock the house, but wouldn't happen not just due to lack of interest & commitment, but the strict timelines & Axl's notoriousness to being late. Ashame, that would definitely generate buzz.
According to the insiders, Duff has made it clear he wants back in, Slash or no Slash, and has wanted back in for a while. He wasn't just doing the band a solid playing the SA tour with them.
Not buying it. I'll believe it if it happens, but I don't think Duff would join this lineup:
Axl
Robin
Rich
Duff
FrankIt just seems like a terrible mish-mosh of random people.
I actually could see that happen. Don't forget that Duff was still in the band when Robin joined.
I played with Robin a few times and he’s a great guy.
And he seemed to be very open to the new guys when he filled in for Tommy. IMO, Duff rejoining is way more likely than a reuinion that includes both Duff and Slash.

If a (partial) reunion with Duff won't happen, I'm certain Tommy will get the call and be there when Axl needs a bass player. The Mats are over (again) and I don't seem him making his solo career his permanent focus. Sadly, he won't make enough money with it.
I'm pretty sure you're joking, but there wasn't even a sniff of GNR except for that quick mention. I don't think he even referenced Frank as being "from GNR" when he introduced him.
I'm not very familiar with his stuff so I don't know for sure what it all was. I think it was all his solo stuff and I was told the last two songs were from his band Bash & Pop that he put together after the Replacements. It was a really good rock show though.
Tommy never playes any stuff from the Mats or GN'R at his solo gigs (obviously not counting 'You Can't Put Your Arms Around A Memory', which he used to play way before he even was in GN'R). A recent setlist of his that I've seen looked like this:

I think that my guess is...that at some point someone is going to call me and tell me what's up with that.
I don't read that as 'he's out'. He may not be involved in anything right now, but when he finally gets that call he might just as well be there again. It's basically what he said in that other interview before.
The only thing suggesting that GN'R actually might continue without him is that it seems that Richard and Dizzy have information that he doesn't.
