I never knew itunes was region specific???? I've never used it but am curious why it would be - that sounds crazy if it is.

Cheers for transcribing. Interesting read, I never knew that just Pitman and Axl worked together for a couple of years by themselves bascially "3 years just me and him"!
When you hear these recordings… it’s quite astounding. I mean sound wise they’re pretty hybrid of a lot of different processes, that have taken years to do.
^ Ain't that the truth, it's definitely reflected in the sound of a lot of songs. They are bits and pieces from this session and that session or this year and that year, this idea today and that idea from years ago, all spliced together.

I was looking at this site which I believe the domain name is owned by GN'R.

It says video coming soon and it got me thinking, how exactly are they going to shoot a video - who will be in it.
If they can't get Finck to play ball and assuming they haven't been able to talk Buckethead into coming back, then who will be seen playing what parts. Would they just use Ron and Fortus? Also would Frank be the drummer. I know these are questins we all want answers to, but it must be problematic for when they sit down and try and shoot a video.
On a seperate note have there been any UK fans from this board that have submitted an air guitar video to try and win the listening party?

I clicked no - I don't do Itunes. I buy physical product or if I download something I do it for free (steal it).

I would also be willing to suggest that he is not as rich as people think. He has been funding the cost of CD himself for quite sometime - Sic you can probably tell us from exactly when. He also seems to have a lot of people on the payroll and still needs to maintain some sort of lifestyle.
Why else would he have done a couple of the more recent tours when he had no intention of releasing the album. Answer - cashflow.

Damn I love Slash's work in Street Child. It would have to be one of his best solos. It just oozes emotion and feeling and fits perfectly with the song.
Elan actually has a sweet voice too. I'm not normally a big fan of many females singers, but she sounds pretty damn good.

I was thinking of picking up the Heroin Diaries too. I was also looking at Scar Tissue and thinking of getting that one too.
I wouldn't get the Reckless Road book Neemo if you are just wanting something to read. Don't get me wrong it's an awesome book to have with great pics etc. But there will be nothing new in it for you.
As far as some older musical biography books - I assume you have read The Dirt. Obviously a classic read.
Life on Planet Rock by Lonn Friend was an ok light read. I posted about that one in another thread.
Another oldie was "Justice for All" the truth about Metallica. I thought that was a very good read.

True, True and it's great that you behave considering how many girls take pics with you. Let me ask you this, is it a bit of an effort to get the girls to pose with you or is it you hang out with them a bit and then you just say hey want to take a pic with me and they do it no questions asked. I only ask this because I've never seen one guy take pics with so many women in so many different places
I don't just randomly go up to chicks asking for photos - that would be a bit creepy I'm sure.
Often they're just girls we have met out and started talking to and hanging out for a bit. I just ask if we can take some pics - they probably say yes because they think that they're gonna get lucky 
But seriously, we're usually just goofing around taking pics with our mobile phones being drunk idiots and that's what most of the photos are. They're usually the funniest pics, I just don't post those ones 
TylerDurden I like the hiking pic - I wish we had some decent hills for hiking where I live. Unfortunately it's as flat as a pancake around here. I need to go travelling overseas again.

Shame a few others can't take a leaf out of his book
