He turned in an album mixed by those guys FFS and the label rejected it. The only reason why Axl picked the mixes by Caram is because of all the people that left the band and the producers left the band too.
his mixes are shit they sound like utter crap, you can hear clipping all over his versions of the songs. Its mind boggling you think that is signs of a good producer.
Hell Hard School the new version the guitars sound like they are a midi file and Axl sounds like he is singing through a tin can and string.
On Abusrd he couldnt even get the vocal tempo to match the music tempo.He is a hack.
Yet, Axl sticks with Caram because he likes having his music sound bad

I miss VR mostly because I miss Slash and Duff playing with the drum powerhouse that is Matt Sorum. Frank is bar band level and has zero chemistry or groove with them, and Brent Fitz is solid but absolutely boring. At least Sorum played with some weight and groove behind his playing.
GN’R suffers because of this, and so does SMKC.

I think because Axl and Slash, probably don’t want to go into detail about the absolute stupidity of them not speaking for 20+ years. And if I was a journalist worth my salt, that’s exactly what I’d be asking. And also why the fuck it’s taking them so long to get an album together.
I don’t imagine either of them, especially Axl, want to be put on the spot about that.

I also saw Thor: Love and Thunder on the weekend, and it was disappointing after the fantastic Ragnarok. Cool to hear four different GN’R songs used throughout the film. But even that couldn’t really save it from being pretty bad.

I watched Frantic (1988, starring Harrison Ford) last night. I don’t remember if this movie was popular when it was released in the 80’s, but I vaguely remember seeing ads on tv for it about his wife going missing and having to find out what happened to her.
It was a decent thriller, but I thought it could have ended better.
I also watched The Lincoln Lawyer (2021, Matthew McConaughey) last week and that was a pretty good thriller too.

Having unfortunately never seen Pantera live, I’d welcome seeing this. Zakk would do Dime justice, and so would Charlie for Vinnie.

You can see with the lack of recent interviews, and the recent Slash Japanese interview that they have that, do not ask questions about GN'R, thing in place. Slash and Duff are obviously only accepting interviews if it is about other subjects.
It’s 2022 and they’re still trying to remain “mysterious” by doing shit like this, but all they do is remain mysteriously fucking stupid…
No offence to you of course.
Ugh. Just give us some new music already.
