The label pushed hard enough, but the material wasn't very good. SBQM wasn't a great song, the video sucked, they waitied to long to put out TLF, but really those two are just Slither pt.2 demo and FTP pt.2 demo. They're a lessened version of their hits from CB. And those who bought CB were largely unimpressed with the rest of the songs. So why would you buy Libertad?

Libertad was kind of a weird example. Not sure why it was brought up. But the comparison to CB, about being a big seller followed by little success, is fair. A lot of curiosity listens based on the pedigree of VR's members and GNR. VR could not turn the initial interest into long-term success, and we're discussing if GNR will go the same way or if they'll pull in a big audience for years to come.

Great game last night. I wish I could've been there to see those dickwad Leafs fans whoop it up for 2.5 periods then leave with tears in there beady little eyes. Congrats to Versus for recognising the LEafs-Sabres rivalry. Most of the time it gets ignored, but the 4 games a year in Buffalo are very heated and dangerous for fans even.

The material is too much album and not enough single imo. Only Better really sounds like a rock radio hit, and it doesn't sound like a big pop hit. The rest of it is kind of outdated, or at least not in the current trend.

It certainly will hit big and die off... unless Timbaland remixes TWAT after the album's been out a month. Hahaha, that would suck.
