I'm excited for the Sabres/Leafs game tonight. Got to get above .500. And Toronto games are usually fun.

Man. Ouch.
My school's having its homecoming week this week, hopefully no one loses their hands during it.

I'll do it.
For the record I think we should consider this the 1st ROV WWE game, and not the 2nd or 3rd.

Could very well be right about Layne being the influence instead of Cobain. Certainly would make for better songs. But Nirvana blew the door open and made the grunge trend really happen. I hear a lot of post-grunge in modern rock, and if not for Cobain perhaps grunge wouldn't have been so big, and the exposure AIC had would've been less and you wouldn't see that grunge influence.
That really rambled and doesn't make nearly as much sense as it does in my head.

CB was disappointing, but it's at least got some good songs. The same cannot be said of Libertad.

But Shadows doesn't sound like Axl or even write like Axl.

I've never liked this song, so I haven't thought too much about it, but I think it is the one legit example of a song that is about the old band. A lot of posters will say that Better, TWAT, IRS and every other song is about the old band, but mostly they're about Stephanie or some other love. But Maddy could be about the old band, or his place in society.

It's hard for the comparison because I don't see the influence. There are bands that are influenced by GN'R, but I don't see a lot of bands or singers doing anything that's clearly Axl. It's pretty easy, on the other hand, to see the influence Cobain, Corgan and Reznor have had on today's rock scene.
I do put Axl up on any list of greatest vocalists or frontmen, but between his small resume, unclear writing abilities (how much of GN'R was and is Axl remains a question) and the amount of Ax-influenced singers f today, it is hard to justify.

I haven't watched wrestling since before No Mercy. I may catch RAW this Monday. What was Smackdown's main event last night?

Could we get the signatures to look like signatures and not part of your post? Make the text smaller, or quoted or something?
