Yeah and thats when I knew it was fake. 14 Had the spelling and GNR link been perfect, that would have sealed the deal of its lack of authenticity.

It's funny because that completely went through my head as well!!

Thanks Atari for the comment above about myself posting again. 15

James, I didn't even know what Twitter was until last night but used my husbands Fthebullies T shirt shop account which he never uses to post one post at the supposed Axl to just to see what the answer would be, why he's blogging on there.
I won't be Twittering anytime soon I can tell ya that.  LOL

I think I am gonna send an email to BBF too just to see what he has to say about this.

Actually I just looked more into this and I don't see BBF or Baz blogging anything back to the supposed Axl.   He is blogging to them, I can see that but I don't see @therealWar on either Bumble or Baz or Bubbles.   It's more then likely bull cacca that it's him.

Good observation. I don't know jack shit about Twitter but I figured Ron being on there didn't mean it was 100% kosher.

I hate fake celeb accounts. Myspace used to be loaded with them a few years back.

I know, someone trying to claim their 15mins as someone else.    Good observations by you with spelling vocalist wrong and the web page.  I was saying to myself good ole James spotting that!  smile

It's definitely Bumblefoot, I know for a fact he's been back and forth to LA for months now [mostly been in LA],  Jen and I comment back and forth on Facebook.

Would BBF talk to some who is impersonating Axl.    I dunno.

OMG, I have been watching Sober House.  He's been shooting herion, I have to say, I feel so incredibly bad for him, I know others say he is doing this to himself but he is sick and he just can't stop.   He was just in rehab and you can see the difference of him clean and totally wasted on this stuff.   Words can't even describe how he was acting, what his face looked like...I was in shock.   I am happy to see him looking so happy in those pics.   Corse he's usually smiling but not in this footage on Sober House.

All Bumblefoot lead guitar album? Don't make me laugh. If that's the case I'll eat my own boxers.

how much have you really heard from the guy? I never understood the hate for his playing. We have heard very little of his gnr work and of that it's all him playing other people's shit. obviously, anything he writes will be a much better indicator of what he does.

his solo work, whether you like it or not, is probably the best way to get a feel for him but even that angle is dicey for it's such a different type of music than gnr.

Totally agreed.

If you ask me, Bumblefoot is extremely diverse with how many projects, not just his own career he's worked on.    Having said that, talking about his solo work,  his albums are great, not only is he an excellent guitar player but he has an incredible voice, he writes, sings, arranges and plays excellent songs.   You can't ask for a better person to be in the band we all love, that has all that talent within himself.

My interest has fallen waay down.   I've been here before and completely stopped posting but when Axl resurfaced I came back with a vengeance again.   I've definitely laid low on the forums but I still check them mostly everyday but I don't post hardly as much.  My interest in the band hasn't changed but the forum interest has..............for now.

I think a video will eventually see the light of day.   I also think they will do a tour at some point, hopefully in 2009.

I do think that after the vid and the tour, that's it for CD that we'll see.   Hopefully those two things will happen.   I do have a slight fear of both not happening.

Even tho the show became a dissappointment for the most part as Polluxlm said, the show still had great moments.   I really believe the violence combined with the storyline really made the show what it was.   If you notice, they even took out the hardcore Italian.   In the first 3 seasons, they were quoting Italian all over the place, then after that, all of that stopped with the major violence.  [Another thing the show was taking flack for was some Italians were insulted that this represented all Italians, I gotta say being from an Italian family, the mannerisms were true to form and let's face it, 80 percent of Italian families, someone in the family tree was probably connected at some point.   Just the fact that Italians got insulted by it, proves that's how we are, even though I always thought that was rediculous]  I always got a rise when Tony would get angry, James Gadolfini did a fantastic job at making that explosive, then that didn't happen as much, I used to look forward to that.  I do agree, they were reaching at straws at the end to keep up story lines.   Many things they left hanging too as you all were saying.   Curio did he go back to Italy because he knew he'd get killed starting up a relationship with Carmela? and the Russians - that was one of the best episodes and they never followed up on that, WTF, what the hell happened to the guy after that.

Even with that all said, still all in all, Yah I do miss it.  smile

#50 Re: The Sunset Strip » The Sopranos » 859 weeks ago

I've always said the Soprano's lost it after Season 3.   I remember being dissappointed with alot of the episodes after that point.   One thing that did happen that ruined the show big time was that the show was taking major flack for the violence and they cut that down tremendously.  Focused more on dream sequences and more of the drama of the show.  This show needed the violence as well as the story, that's what made it work.   Take alot of the raw violence away and it made the show more of a mobster soap opera and I hated the director direction they went with Chris.

The show wasn't as raw as it was in the first 3 seasons.  Although, I think Christophers death was pretty intense considering that Tony killed him, I thought that was pretty ballsy.   Taking his own life would have been to predictable.    Even tho, the last 2 seasons sucked, I still miss the show.
