Interesting. I never thought that there was such a dropoff from India to USA. I always supposed there were 2 or 3 other countries in between countries. Also I always thought Russia was alot bigger. I guess that's because half of them moved into Northeast Philadelphia.  big_smile

A. He would be the oldest to take office.
B. He's basically guaranteeing we'll continue this war for 4 more years.
C. Alot of Ron Paul supporters are young, internet community delusional college kids who believe in this pipe dream of "eliminating the IRS and the federal income tax" regardless of his political affiliation. He's the Ralph Nader of 2008. If Ralph Nader didn't run, Al Gore would have recv'd the majority of his votes.
D. I don't know about Ohio, Michigan probably will go blue. Ohio does have a pretty big housing crisis which will loom for well into 2008. Changing the current economy will be a big factor. Not saying Hilary or Obama are or will be better, but in alot of times like that, people vote for a new regime. That's why Bush Sr lost in 92, the economy was piss poor.

Well they gave up on that single, didn't they.

I wonder what the final single will be, do they mention it?

hell the label just may make it a double disk with bonus DVD footage to crank it up to about $20-25 for the album then it'll increase revenue significantly for them, but then if they increase the price it decreases the possibility of average joe to buy it for pure interests sakes

They could do what VR did & sell the cd for regular price, and the the cd +DVD for about $5 more for hardcore fans. Maybe a behind the scenes or interview included. Most casual fans may not care for that, whereas we would.

WTF is TO talking about. Saying "I've always had great relationships with my QB's" ??

He questioned Garcia's sexuality, threw McNabb under the bus & says he's the one who lost the Super Bowl, said Bledsoe probably shouldn't be the starter, but now he's all about Romo after the guy takes a fucking vacation a week before a playoff game??!

As a team leader & veteran of the game, he needed to call Romo out onto the carpet on that one. Imagine if Eli took a vacation. What do you think Michael Strahan would have said?!  Eli would be out of NY. Guaranteed.

He made it pretty far, deservedly so, he was a great player, but I voted Faulk. Isn't really close IMHO compared to most of the remaining.

Look at the current polls. McCain and Hillary will get each nomination.  McCain will stomp Hillary in the general election. The public is upset with Bush, Republicans just get some blame by association.  The so called leaders of the Democratic party have failed to deliver.  We will at least have 4 more years of a Republican president and I would want no other person in office right now than McCain.  Ron Paul has some very appealing ideas, ideas that are the core of my political system, but we don't live in a utopia.  From day one I have said it will be Hillary and McCain with McCain winning the election.  I still believe I am right.

Not trying to cause a stir, but have you looked at these primary election totals?? The democrats are DOUBLING the amount of voters. It wouldn't be exact but wouldn't that lead you to believe more Dems & people will vote Dem than Republican?! No offense, but a 73 year old pro-extending the war candidate is just as "unelectable" as a woman or black man with a funny name. Obama would own McCain in debates & public speaking. And even if Clinton wins, there's a good chance Mayor Bloomburg of NYC will run, and I think he'd do really well. Also when Ron Paul drops out his supporters will probably go democrat, so that's about 8% of current GOP crossing party lines.

Anyway, the election comes down to about 5 states. Cali, Fla, Mich, & Ohio. His immigration stance might help him in FLA & Cali, not guarantee him it, but help. I think Mich & Ohio will go democrat. Also, Obama is doing really well in S. Carolina. And remember in 06 a young black democrat for Senate(Harold Ford) almost won in Tennessee, something virtually unheard of in a southern state. If the Republicans lose 1 or 2 southern states (possibly N Carolina too), it's over.

It's quite amusing, actually. I only listened the first 43 minutes, though. Some people like to repeat the album at that point.

Ahhh, thank you sic. And thank you youtube. You both saved me about $30 and 2+ hours.  I'll watch these tonight.

#6590 Re: Guns N' Roses » Eddie Trunk on Chinese Democracy » 956 weeks ago

I didn't read all of this thread. but from the earlier posts I agree with DTJ that Eddie Trunk probably has somewhat more merit than alot of these blogs & websites. Also, there was that guy on Fuse TV a few months ago (there's a thread about him on here somewhere, I'll look for it) who said something similar. The "Universal is trying to sell it to another label" is interesting, but one has to look at what Monkeychow says and if no one is buying GnR off them, they are just deciding to not release it?? That doesn't make sense.

It's better to make $5 million off a $15 million dollar investment than not make anything. Plus, for a corporation, the money is already spent!! So if they release it tomorrow, they are not going to lose $10million dollars tomorrow!! They already lost that, they are just trying to gain back as much as they can.

Maybe they are looking into a strategy, possibly whether to release songs in advance on iTunes, then release the full cd the following week or two, when to release it (springtime, summer) timing it away from Metallica. Maybe Axl is asking them to wait and HE will buy it off of them, once he gets enough $$ & investors. That might be why he toured the last few years, now he has most of the money, he just asking investors (rich wealthy people in LA) to lend him a few mil to complete the purchase. That's a thought.

Anyway, my only question is if it is turned in, and the label is causing the delay, why wouldn't GnR mention that on their website. I really can't see a gag-0order being imposed on that, it would either have to be in the bands contract (which I wouldn't think happens) or in the lawsuit, but a judge would have to impose that, and I can't see a judge caring enough about a rock band to do that. I dunno, I don't think that's the case. Also, it's possible Eddie Trunk just read it online somewhere, and is regurgitating information. Maybe there's some merit to it though, sometimes where there's smoke there's fire.
