Shows how much I've been paying attention....didn't know about those releases.

I need to check out that Bad anniversary edition.

You have to think that the vault is getting a little bare considering the those two LPs were the scraps from other records.

Yeah if they're using rejects from other albums to fill up the space on deluxe editions, its definitely bone dry.

If GNR ever decide to start unloading their vault, we're gonna find out how full that vault really is fairly quickly.

The Bad 25th Anniversary release is pretty legit. Own a copy on CD. Al Capone is a jam! As for MJ vault material, there is still another song he did with Freddie Mercury that the estate is just sitting on. They released one of them already on the Queen Forever compilation with "There Must Be More To Life Than This".

That DC show in October, I could most certainly get to that unlike the FedEx Field one last year which was a little out of my direction. I can't miss one of these shows especially since Slash and Duff are involved. Got plenty of GNR shirts to wear for the occasion too. smile

I love OMG so much as a song. I even tried to get a live performance going on with some friends awhile back. Still want to make that happen and I hope Guns themselves revisits the song one of these days.

I highly recommend checking him out. Saw him back in September '16 and was blown away despite a few set backs with the venue. Just pissed that now he has a backing band and with Brain no less. Oh well. tongue

Saw both Get Out and Logan this week. Get Out is an incredible directorial debut and a well put together thriller with horror and black comedy elements. Logan is a great send off to the character of Wolverine (before he is eventually re-cast) and Hugh Jackman in the role with a dark story with great action set pieces, heart, and emotional depth.

Wow. Great piece. That's basically what everyone has said, that he was an incredibly good guy.  Just terrible. This has probably hit me harder than all the others, right next to Bowie. I grew up with this guy. From Weird Science to Big Love. If no one has seen One False Move, go check it out. One of the best of those great early 90s neo B noir films along with Reservoir Dogs and Red Rock West.

Check out Edge of Tomorrow: Live Die Repeat, He is amazing in that movie. Every line he says is hysterical.

The Lego Batman Movie was a treat. A little frantic at times; but appreciated the attention to detail with the references. I enjoyed Split a good deal and that I feel M. Night is finally back, baby!

I listened to The Next Day and Blackstar again. I like the former better although it gets a little long in the tooth.

I loved the Next Day. Still need to get around listening to the full Blackstar album. Just watched the last Bowie singles/videos promoting it.

Awesome post. Bill Ward with Sabbath is another good example...they seemed to make out just fine. But Steven is way worse. They threw him a bone he didn't deserve.

Saw Sabbath back in August. So proud of those guys and Tommy knocked it out of the park on the kit. They crushed it and both the band and tour ended on a high note.
