At least he wasn't at a basketball game...

no...Jarmo knew the songs were out there maybe even had some or all of them before they were public knowledge, but he never has condoned or allowed leaks on his site nor did even allow discussions about them at first...he tried his hardest to keep it all under wraps but too many people were frequenting HTGTH at all hours for it to remain a secret
It's obvious that beta favours Jarmo and HTGTH. It's the only GNR forum she posts at. I'm sure if she held some kind of grudge against him, she wouldn't bother and he probably wouldn't be part of the GNR entourage.
It looks like Jarmo is comparing Classic Rock to Rolling Stone. I'm not sure exactly what he means, but the band must not want this information out if he's controlling its distribution.

Shotgun Messiah is a definite addition. Thanks to JVD for bringing that one up; they're usually overlooked as one of the greater bands to come out of the 80s. As is Tesla.

This is a shocker and will certainly have a major effect on Hollywood. Heath was one of the biggest young stars. RIP.

It's a tossup between Snatch and The Shawshank Redemption. Well, This Is Spinal Tap is up there as well, but I figure I should leave the stupid comedies off the list so that I come off as more mature.
#726 Re: The Garden » Is Higher Education A Good Idea? » 921 weeks ago
Well thanks for your views guys, I'm gonna go the education route, probably with Computer Science.
I've done Business for 3 years at college and although its easy, I'd be a pretty lame boss.
There's so many different routes you can take with business though, without becoming a manager. If you're interested in computers, you could probably do a business degree with a concentration in information systems, a very employable job. You wouldn't necessarily have to become a manager, you could be the guy in a corporation that does a lot of the design and implementation of systems within an organization. Big bucks in that. Of course, degrees are different everywhere.
Here, you can do a Bachelor of Commerce degree and concentrate in the following areas:
Accounting
Entrepreneurship/Small Business
Marketing
Information Systems
Finance
Human Resources/Labour Relations
Management Science
Of course, you could do a Bachelor of Business Administration or an International Bachelor of Business Administration as well, so the general options are there.
Bottom line: I wouldn't knock business. As a business student I'm always trying to encourage people to take the route. In the end, of course, it's up to you.

I don't even consider things like this newsworthy or anything anymore. We've heard the reaction from most of the opening acts and it's always the same. We know to expect Axl to be a dick to all these guys, so it comes as no surprise when it rings true.

Good call by Axl... I wouldn't hang out with some of the guys who feel like they've been snubbed either.

Off-topic... but Commissioner Gordon?? Anyone else wonder where Batman fits in all this?
#730 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » SCOTT WEILAND Is A No-Show At VELVET REVOLVER's SUNDANCE Concert » 921 weeks ago
Fuck. This doesn't look good for the continuance of VR. I'd like for the guys to continue on with a different singer if they have to. I wonder what Axl's doing now? haha
If there wasn't a rift in the band, they would've just canceled the show after Scott missed his flight. Performing without him just means that he's not that important to them in the first place and that they're ready to move on. Sucks for the fans who showed up to see the full band.
