It's been taken down.
Download it here:

Sounds great. Much better than Live to Rise. Song was obviously written about his return to Seattle.
#72 Re: The Sunset Strip » How In The Hell Do We Not Have A Breaking Bad Thread? » 669 weeks ago
Just finished up the 5th season. Good Lord. Anyone else as into this amazing show as me? I need to talk about this shit. A year long wait after THAT cliffhanger is probably going to kill me.
And what's going to kill even more is the fact that THERE ARE ONLY 8 EPISODES LEFT!!!!
Anyone else want the show to just keep going on? It's some of the best television made in recent years (if not ever, as well).

Apple and Samsung may control over half of the mobile phone supply, but their hold on the phone demand is ever greater. Apple makes upwards of 75% of all the profit made in the mobile phone business (I think) with Samsung pulling in another 20ish%. I don't have a problem with monopolies that result from having the consensus best product, and everyone (myself included) seems to feel that way about the iPhone. If Apple tried to cash in by selling at too high a price, someone will come undercut them. But right now nobody is close to the iPhone except those that will steal to get there.
Agreed. The iPhone (and iPad) are very easy to use and very powerful products. Apple invested 5 years into making the iPhone, it's very understandable that they would be pissed to see other companies come along and piggy back off of their hard work but do it in way less time. And often in an inferior way.

Regardless of your personal opinions on either company, it's hard not to see that Samsung tried to copy Apple. They even had a 100+ page presentation about how the iPhone was better than their phone and how they could make their phone more like it.
This is going to change the cell phone market. And it could be a good thing. People will be less likely to use Apple's patented ideas without licensing. Which in turn means they will most likely choose to make their own stuff that isn't like the iphone instead. Apple is taking a huge gamble by wining. Their way of making a phone might not be the best and most simple, and now they are forcing their competition to come out with something different and better.
There isn't any way of knowing the outcome ahead of time, but this could change the course of the company and bring on their post-peak years like what happened with Microsoft. All it takes is one company with nothing left to lose who is willing to take a huge gamble to invent something Apple hasn't thought of and dethrone them.
#75 Re: The Sunset Strip » Best band Neemo vs Russ » 670 weeks ago
Russ' lineup is going to be very hard to beat.
#76 Re: The Sunset Strip » Round 2 D vs gnfnraxl » 670 weeks ago
Went with gnfnraxl. Sorry D, but your lineup doesn't work for me. They are all amazing musicians, but it seems like all you did was pick the best from each instrument and throw them together.
#77 Re: The Sunset Strip » best band round 2 BLS vs Supaplex » 670 weeks ago
Both are amazing line-ups, and I'd really like to see both, but BLS seems to have put together a group of guys that just seem like they belong together. They would all compliment each other so well. Nice work.

Damn... wish I had come around more often. My pick would have been:
Vocals: Chris Cornell
Lead Guitar: Josh Homme
Rhythm Guitar: Wayne Coyne
Bass: Flea
Drums: Matt Cameron
#79 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Corey Taylor bashes Scott Weiland » 702 weeks ago
Ukulele Songs is a wonderful album. As is Into the Wild. As is everything Pearl Jam. Far superior band. This is coming from a huge STP fan.
Scott is the more interesting front man however.
Anyone else see the recent Corey Taylor interview where he says VR needs a "good-time Axl Rose" and he could be that for them?
What a fucking ego on this guy.
And seriously... funny shit.
