Jamie Szantyr - known on TNA wresting as "Velvet Sky"....

But who else to represent GNR? It would be odd if someone else was there representing for slash's Welcome to the Jungle solos and riffs!! I mean who else would? NIN's lead guitarist maybe?
Ok..so that was kinda a troll post. I take it back. But it does show the importance even today of the AFD album and its lineup.
I still don't have any of the guitar hero games...although i've seen them at a friends house. The bass player in my band plays more GH than real guitar now though - so it must be addictive!

But that angle is kinda very unusual....
Here's a more real pic:

Shame cos I thought the learning to count - and working out the 'change' etc was the educational part of the game..much less for kiddies to do with a simple swipe.

Yeah its true...i was kinda hoping there wasa comment from GNR or the Label with a progress report too.

As much as it looks like it will never happen.
In 2004 the massive media appearences in 2006 and tour looked like they wouldn't happen. Things can change overnight almost.

TSI sounds awesome to me....
#9198 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Baz: Joining VR would be "really awkward" » 940 weeks ago
I'm probably alone...but I actually think Baz would be good. It would be way different to VR as they are with Scott...but it would bring a harder edge back to the music. I'd like to see some heavier Slash riffs ala Snakepit with baz on vocals.. I feel they could go well...the musicality of VR would stop Baz decenting into full metal mode..but the vocal range and power of Baz would give a harder edge to the pop flavour that libertad started to get...
Anyway...i can see why Baz has chosen to stick with Axl. When he auditioned the first time was during the silent era I think..and axl hadn't spoken to him in 10 years.

Yeah i think we have just a simple communication breakdown. When you speak of "Axl's Vision" i think some took that to imply that he was the sole creative force on the record, and thus felt the need to speak up for the obvious and powerful creative imput of Izzy, Slash and Duff.
I think it was just the choice of words, as Axl has many fans who like to assert that in addition to being the sole owner of the GNR brand he is the sole talent in the history of the group - and those folks like to talk a lot about his vision and elevate him to some kind of messiah status. Thus you using that phrase may have made people a bit jumpy.
However perhaps what your saying is just that Axl's influence, while notable on AFD for his awesome voice and singing, is more obvious in UYI as he added in the paino and bigger production/sound effects.

I think the song writing credits on UYI are obviously messed up.
It should go like this - if you're a guitarist and come into rehersal and someone gives you a song and goes "here is your completed part - just play these notes" then you don't get a writing credit. If you're a singer turn up and someone goes "here are the words you sing" then you don't get a writing credit. If anything else happens - if either part isn't compelte before you're there - then you helped write the damn song.
Axl SHOULD get a credit on any song he wrote ANY lyrics to. Slash SHOULD get a credit on any song where Izzy/Duff or Axl didn't write the ENTIRE song - solos and all.
Unfortunately that's clearly not what's happening here. Unless you think Axl can play the entire guitar parts and solos on songs like "Shotgun blues"....
