I guess my issue with this whole collapse thing is the concept that the music is no longer the primary product in the marketplace. If they only earn a living through T-Shirts and Tours (cool as tours are) then that doesn't seem to me to be an improvment. Afterall - think of Axl - would you rather see him do the same show live again or listen to a new CD of material from him?

yeah exactly...i have no issues with them missing the match 6th date....but its the failure to supply any form of new target date that gets me. Or if its an issue that doesn't easily have a known end date (like litigation) then come out and say what the delay is caused by. This could be done in broard terms (disagreement with the record label etc)

But to miss the date then say nothing for the rest of the year does kinda suck a bit. To be honest I find it rather unprofessional. Axl is an amazing artist and that shows from the fact that he is able to keep a fan base throughout all the bullshit over the years. But immagine how many more fan there would be if the fan base had been kept in touch with as other artists do.

Still, its always been axls way (random no-shows and the like) and we have to take the bad with the good, and theres a hell of a lot of good in the beautiful songs he writes.

One i got into the halloween films a few years back i was obsessed to see everything, so i went and got an ebay edition at fuck knows what price for an almost unwatchable version. If it had been avaliable legit I definately would have picked it up....
