And you're paying all that damn money to hang out with a bunch of fucking hipsters in the desert when you could see GN'R in Vegas (party city).

YOu didn't piss it away. If a show happens before Coachella just sell those tickets. Just be sure to do it sooner than a few days before the festival if you want to break even.

Media trying to throw a wrench in the rekindled relationship already huh?

This may be why they are avoiding interviews right now. I don't blame them. I said they should shrug off the "war" and Axl not go into great detail on why he did a 180 with all of his harsh comments and now I really think they should avoid it.

It just isn't necessary.

Billboard was right all along. Now that the LV show has been confirmed, I hope they announce those stadium dates soon.

There is absolutely no reason to rehash the war in alot of ways, because none of them ever came across as having a real hatred of the other, including Axl. Yes, he called Slash a cancer, but at the same time he was also found buzzed telling a humorous story about Slash, that seemingly brought back happier times. Axl also never came across as giddy to trash Slash, but almost reluctantly obligated (to himself) to do it anyways.

I just never saw the same things out of Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff & Steven, the same thing that I saw out of Dave Mustaine and his insistence on being the end all be all to Megadeth. Or how nasty the breakup of Queensryche was.

If they all are TRULY on good terms now, AND especially if Axl & Slash found out 99% of all of the bullshit between them was cause by bad communication from people like Niven, Goldstein, the label, Perla... and maybe Team Brazil wasn't the even villain during all this...

They might just want to hug, and forget any of it ever happened. Especially if my dream season theory of just picking up in 2016 where they left off in 1993 is the plan.

Slash McKagan wrote:

According to Billboard.com, the reunited GUNS N' ROSES — featuring singer Axl Rose alongside guitarist Slash and bassist Duff McKagan — will be one of the first acts to play the new T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, set to open April 6. The band is also negotiating with promoters to play as many as 25 stadiums in North America this summer. For the tour, GN'R is said to be asking as much as $3 million per show, with tickets topping out in the $250 to $275 range.

Meanwhile, The Pulse Of Radio reports that the instrumental members of GUNS N' ROSES — including Slash, McKagan and more recent drummer Frank Ferrer — are rehearsing for the upcoming reunion shows without Rose. The frontman has yet to join the group in the rehearsal studio and it's not clear at the moment which other members are also present, if any.

Slash told The Pulse Of Radio a while back how his relationship with Axl disintegrated during the final years of the classic GUNS lineup. "His sort of m.o., as far as the band was concerned, over time got so exaggerated in the rock star sense or whatever and he became such a dictator and this and that and the other, that it was impossible for me to work with him, because I'm not the kind of person that takes orders, you know," he said.

Ahead of April's headlining slot at the Coachella Music And Arts Festival, GUNS N' ROSES is rumored to be planning a secret show in the Los Angeles area next month as a warm-up.

Although neither Slash nor Duff McKagan played on the 2008 GUNS album "Chinese Democracy", songs from that set are reportedly being rehearsed and will be performed.

The Las Vegas chatter appears to be correct, but the concert appears to be planned (based on early plans) for the last week of April, not around April 6th. I am guessing if the earlier plans come to fruition it could follow Coachella. Because the promoter is having to deal with multiple managers, agents, lawyers and other personnel, I get the sense it is taking longer to plan the world tour as a whole. I am not sure about the US tour (which I would guess may happen after a gap after Coachella), but the European tour planning is still in it's infancy, so I would logically guess that July could be a stretch for any tour dates. I am thinking August will be more likely. The German date is supposedly July, but with the F1 race, August would make more sense (although I am fairly confident there have been offers in place for July). It will be interesting to see how it pans out

Joe Litvag, an AEG senior vice president who produces Rocklahoma and other summer hard-rock festivals, believes those days are long gone. "I've had Guns N' Roses with Axl at a couple of our festivals in the last few years and he's been great," he says. "Our hope is they're going to do more than a single festival appearance. If they do [a tour], it's going to be big venues and big production."
