They played Used To Love Her in the first set and followed up with TWAT in the encore. Periscope of the encore here.

Rough start to TWAT for Axl but finished strong. Slash sounds improved over Mexico.

Yeah Axl still not hitting he high parts of the scream but at least he's using rasp on it.

Slash sounded awesome!

This is still the best live version of TWAT. Axl sounds great.

Re: San Diego

TWAT! Still think they should've given the outro to Fortus; he's proved that he can play the Buckethead parts note-for-note, and he's not exactly treading on Slash's toes by taking a solo from an album that Slash had nothing to do with. And he went and got killswitches for his guitars so he could do the Buckethead parts.

I love the ending on that one but they skip the screams in the middle....these were best done in toyko 2009 (so far) I think:

Agreed with the 06 performance in NYC.

This was decent though. Gotta give it another listen.

Depends on the criteria for me.

I would rate it:

Best Verse Vocals, and Ending Vocals : NYC 2006

Best Screams in the Middle: Jokyo 2009

Closest Outro Solo to the Record version: Bumblefoot Vegas 2014

Coolest Outro Solo: Slash Version - the way he plays buckets parts but adds those high bits kills it. Not sure if Mexico or San Diego was better - I think the boot is clearer from Mexico!

It's all bitter sweet for me as the gold of this to me is the high parts in the middle, but overall I love the current bands version. My hope is they do it often enough that eventually Axl goes for the high part one more time and someone films it!

This is bad. Entire band sucks here. Holy shit.

What's wrong with it? Other than Axl cheating on the screams in the middle...it seems pretty solid...which bits bad?
