All this is working. Other nations are begging.  This will change their behavior towards tariffing us. I think Trump cares about the US and our workers. Just by bringing is up is making countries want to trade with us in a more fair way. The fucker is winning. Just enjoy it.

I agree with you, but it’s still early. I support the ideas of the tariffs, because generally speaking, I don’t think we should import products that result in a loss of American jobs. Especially if said products are subsidized by their country of origin.

But steel runs deeper. It is part of national security. People forget that even at the height of American industry, we still scrapped metal for WW2. If we are unable to manufacture enough steel to feed the war machine, the primary source of America’s military supremacy, we're neutered. Imagine if we were largely dependent on steel from foreign nations, and they collectively agreed not to sell us steel. That can’t happen. This isn’t about refuting a Mitch style view of the world and America, it’s about ensuring the United States is able to defend itself and its interest to its best ability. Without manufacturing our own steel, we're no different than the EU or Canada, whom are entirely dependent on the US for their security.

But again, it’s way too early to make any prediction on the benefit or harm of the tariffs because we have no idea what Trump will do and how it’ll be enforced.

I think things are going well too. But let’s  be consistent. The job numbers sound great, but I want to understand what kind of jobs people are getting. How many people dropped off the unemployment numbers due to being on too long. All these were questions when Obama reported great numbers.

But things are going well economically. Businesses are bringing money home they kept off shore. Your average American is taking more money home.

It’s certainly the best time to be an American, just as it was 5-10 or 20 years ago, despite those who think the modern generation is suffering it has any connection to true hardship or struggle.  Remember when black people weren’t allowed to use the bathroom?  Those kids who can’t piss in any bathroom they want in the same building sure are fighting a similar fight.

Trump on fire today!

Trump going to meet Kim Jung Un. This is good.

It's historic. Anything Trump does gets hated on of course but they can dance around it all day long and it doesn't change how huge this is.

If he can somehow bring major change to the dynamic in the region, his presidency was worth it for that alone.

So Trump is going to meet with Kim Jong Un. The first American President to meet with a leader of North Korea. If NK denuclearized, and that’s a huge if, shouldn’t Trump be considered for the Noble?

Yes. I would give it to him now. He's actually trying while other presidents merely kick the can down the road.

I'm really tired of the porn star stories. I...don't....care. Why are we treating Stormy Daniels like she's legit? She fucked a married man, signed an agreement (that's basically a form of blackmail) for money. Now she wants to nix the deal because he's president and her story is... More valuable? Banging a married man and taking money not to speak on it suddenly makes you Betsy Ross nowadays.

Well, yeah, it’s not a big deal. Unless he broke campaign finance laws. Sorry, but there are laws for a reason.

Clinton didn’t get impeached for “fucking an aid in the oval office.” He got impeached for lying about it.

Trump isn’t facing heat because he fucked a porn star. He’s being looked at because he might have broken the law by improperly paying her off.

Unless Sarah Huckabee spoke out of turn, they are already walking back the meeting until North Korea makes some concesssions.

One way or another it needs to get taken care of. After years of sanctions, I imagine it’s getting to the point of desperation there. There’s nothing more unpredictable than a desperate person who feels backed into a corner. It’s Kim Jong-Un’s volatility that concerns me. If Trump does end up meeting him, I hope he does his homework. Maybe start reading those daily briefings he keeps skipping.
