Not to start that argument, but I think mask people are deluding themselves.  All the recent evidence shows this thing is airborne, not aerosol.  WHO said it months ago and bowed to pressure.  CDC said it this weekend, and bowed to pressure.  6 months ago, the WHO and CDC told us masks were useless, and had held that position for years.  What changed?  No one has been able to explain why the mask was useless against the Flu, but suddenly did something for COVID.  Appeals to authority have little sway over me.  If anyone has any actual studies explaining this, please let me know.

I wear my mask in PA as required.  But I think it's a crutch to make scared people feel like they're in control.

Heading to Vegas in 5 days with some friends for my first outing since my cruise in January.  I'm hoping the whole mask thing doesn't make it unbearable.

I was referring to good manners, but masks do add some protection. Albeit slim, but anything that moves the needle positively is worth a try. Just put a mask on in crowds. Simple manners.

A mask in the heat of Vegas sounds pretty rough in fairness.

Bringing up his past is serving what purpose exactly?

It's a reminder that when cops kill someone, it's never Little Red Riding Hood.

Whether black or white, half the time it's a rapist, the other half it's a guy with enough felonies to fill a phone book.

When huge segments of the country start worshiping criminals and turning them into martyrs and civil rights icons, a dose of reality is in order.

The 1960s had Rosa Parks....the 2020s have a guy who assaults and robs pregnant women.

If you point out such simple facts in today's world, you're accused of being the Grand Wizard of the KKK.  It tells me that a lot of people should've picked their icons a bit more wisely. Heroes and icons are usually able to be scrutinized without such venomous rage being spewed at them.

On Twitter, Floyd is deemed a hero. Only in 2020 do heroes get to break into houses and put knives up to the bellies of pregnant women.

This country is broken.

Sorry James but everything you just typed has zero relevance to how those cops acted once he was in cuffs and on the ground. Zero and frankly I find these type of posts disturbing.  You are trying to justify the behaviour of the police after they killed someone while cuffed and on the ground and that's fucked up. There is no defending it and I'd question anyone who tries.

Floyd may not have been a Saint, but that doesn't give cops the right to act the way they did.

The cops were wrong with Floyd. No doubt. Floyd did have lethal amounts of fentanyl (I think) in his system. Cops were wrong but he was on a path to death as well.

The guy in Kenosha was sexually assaulting a woman an because of HIS actions he was shot.

Breonna Taylor hung with bad people and died because of it.

The lady in Ohio was cuffed for no mask. We can’t tell blacks to obey the law if they want to live yet get pissed at cops for that situation. We don’t see the whole video and those the mask thing I silly, in that situation put the damn mask on.

The mask one is just weird to me. Like can you be lawfully arrested in the US for not wearing a mask? Honest question.

I don’t think so but I am sure it said masks were required before walking in. Just respect the rules. If you don’t want to don’t go in. Everyone around her had the mask on. Was it silly, yes. But she was probably and asshole to the cop as well.
