Re: Best album of the 90s- Nominations

Not gonna start this immediately, but figured we might as well get the nomination process going. Out of all possible music eliminations, I think this has the most potential as there were so many great records in that decade. We'll leave the nomination process going for a couple weeks as we always forget some great records when compiling lists, and if you happen to forget a few, just post the additions.

The top 20 with the most nominations will make it, so nominate up to 20-50 albums when making your list, or if you have no desire to list that many, just post your absolute favorite albums from that decade.

That had some previously unreleased music, so yeah it qualifies. I may have to add it myself as well. Seasons and Birth Ritual were amazing.

Totally forgot about the Crowes. That always screams 89 to me, but yeah it was released in early 90. Might have to add that.

Judas Priest- Painkiller

Almost added that. Other than Turbo, its their best album.

Pantera- Cowboys From Hell

Only Pantera record I ever really got into. Considered adding it, but we have plenty of Pantera fans here so its almost assured to be included without needing an extra vote from me.

Michael Jackson- Dangerous

I'm pretty sure this will make the final cut due to obvious reasons. I'll also always wonder how MJ would have finished in our original music madness tourney with Billie Jean had he already been dead while it was happening.

If Dangerous does indeed make it, I gotta give that album several listens.

Faith No More- Angel Dust
Faith No More- King for a Day... Fool for a Lifetime

If these make it, I gotta dive into that discography. Downloaded them months ago, but so much music has been coming out this year and FNM took a backseat.

Britney Spears- ...One More Time

Bold pick. I considered this as well, but didn't want to fill my nom list with a bunch of pop tarts. WEnt with Spice Girls and Mariah instead, both of which are superior to Britney.

Almost picked Hanson's first album as well, and if it gets any other votes, may edit my list to include it.

Warrant- Cherry Pie

WOW............

Jane's Addiction - Ritual de lo Habitual

I should have included this on my list.

Fugees- The Score

Started listening to this again last year, and totally forgot what a great record that is.

Motley Crue- Motley Crue

Probably the boldest pick yet.

Portishead- Portishead

I gotta dive into this. Third is amazing.

Veruca Salt- Eight Arms To Hold You

I think you misspelled American Thighs. 14

Offspring -

May have edit my list to include Smash.

KISS- Revenge

That was a good album. Gonna listen to that and Liz Phair tonight.
