There is no doubt in my mind that it will beat Spidey.

This movie is so much better than Spidey was.  Word of mouth is spreading quickly that this movie is increadible, Saturday won't see too much of a loss in sales i feel.

At the same time this movie is so damn depressing.  This was an amazing performance for Heath, and would have catapulted him to new levels of fame.  It's so sad that he will never be able to see the final product of his work, or that we will never get to see the Joker in another Batman movie like this.  I can't see many (if any) wanting to even attempt to fill Heath's shoes and play the Joker in a third enstallment.

Heath, when alive, was a VERY underrated actor.  This right here proves it.  He goes from playing a gay cowboy to the Joker.  This guy could have done anything.

Yeah, it sucks. I remember when the news first broke, I was over at the Batman forum on Superhero Hype and one poster summed up the situation best (paraphrase): "This isn't right. It just isn't. The guy was about to become a huge A-List star and now his daughter won't have her father to help raise her. The whole thing just isn't right."

That's exactly how I feel about it. It just feels WRONG you know?

It honestly makes me sick.  Such a talent now wasted.  He made some amazing work when he was alive, but this movie shows that he could have really made much more amazing work in the future as well.

The fact that he has a daughter makes it so much worse.  It makes me sick that he died.  It didn't have to happen.  It shouldn't have happened.  I still can't believe this man is just gone after watching this performance.

Yeah it's so so crappy that he died so young. He is pretty good in every film i've seen him in too.

I'm not sure how to phrase this so as not to sound insensitive, but like appart from the obvious reasons why it sucks he died (his family, his age etc), it's extra annoying that it happened right before this performance became public, as it now it will be forever linked with his death in people's minds. Which kind of sucks given the peformance is so good in its own right. You know what I mean, like if Heath had lived to be 99 this would have been an astounding characterisation and regarded as such, of course it will be anyway, but now there will also be people who feel the praise is partially due to his death. I don't think it is...but it does muddy the issue in a sad way. Like this movie would have destroyed records and won awards standing on its own feet, but now there is always going to be an element of the trageitya round it too.

THIS MOVIE WAS AMAZING.!!!   FUCKING OUTSTANDING!  I can't express how pleased I was with it.  I admit I was initially skeptical about Ledger playing the joker, but the idea began to grow on me as I heard more about his portrayl.  This movie was way hyped and I didn't think it possible to meet up to the expectation, but it delivered in every way possible.

I love the scene in Monster's Ball between Ledger and the prostitute. Doesn't last long, but Ledger and that chick do an outstanding performance of how "cold" such a situation is. Total absence of any caring, emotion, etc.

Not saying I'm a prostitute freak(I'm not), but went out with a few escorts many moons ago and Ledger nails it.

You just don't fucking care.

You should hire an escort and tell her to bring Batman Begins SO YOU CAN FINALLY WATCH IT!

You need to see TDK because I want to talk to somebody on IM about how cool this movie is.

Just some quick thoughts. I saw this last night and it was fantastic. It got s little too "big" near the end but overall it was amazing.

Darth Vader will always eb the most iconic villan in my opinion but Heath's Joker si the greatest villan performance of all tiem in my opinion. It fucking killed it. Jack's Joker is a joke in comparison.  I was totally hypnotized every tiem the Joker was ont eh screen. Oscar deservng for damn sure.

Christan Bale is by far the best batman and Bruce Wayne in my opinion. he is now the classic Batman actor.

As for m concern with Maggie Gylenhall Taking over for Katie Holmes. Well she sucked I thoght. They might as well have cast her as the Joker with that stupid shit eating grin she had on her face every tiem she deliverd a line. Honestly Katie Holmes was much better in my opinion. Maggie played the roel like it was supposed ot be one long saracstic joke. terrible.

I'm rushed(literally 30 secods of intenet tiem haha) so sorry for the typeo's. Later.
