Re: Dj Ashba "Axl Rose Is One Of The Nicest Guys I've Met"; Video Inter
I don't care if Bono explodes; not a U2 thread, not a U2 board.
Back to DJ talking about Axl;
I don't mean this as negative but am I wrong or don't all the new members always say something like this about Axl? Seems like he makes a great first impression on members then they usually don't have much to say in the later years.
Outside of a few, there haven't been many to make it to "later years"!

this is going nowhere. lock this thread.

No, you're dead right Russ.
I think Axl has "new girlfriend" syndrome when it comes to the new guys. He showers them with love and attention when it's a new relationship, but as soon as he gets a new replacement, he neglects them and moves on to someone else, specifically the guitar players.
In '99, it was all about Robin. Then in 2001, it became all about Bucket. Then in 2006 it was all about Ron. Then in 2010, it was all about DJ.
I think everyone also settles into their own lives. I have GREAT friends that I only talk to every month or so, just because of life stuff that goes on, and these people I am VERY close to.
I don't think Dizzy has done an interview in years.

It's weird to never hear from Chris, Dizzy or Frank. Barely from Richard even.
I think Axlin is right on the with "new girlfriend" comment, but Axl's not the only one with band relationships like that. See, for example, Trent Reznor, Anthrax, Megadeth to name a few.
