Watched an episode of Poirot on Friday for the first time in 20 years. Pretty decent actually.

When you stop being awed by the effects in Avatar the whole movie falls apart.

Watched "The Stand" Mini Series from the 90's for the first time since I was a kid. Great concept, terrible execution.

Acting is a little too cheesy. Randal Flagg should be one of the great screen villains, but it's just too silly.

I'm very curious what Matthew McConaughey's take will look like in The Dark Tower.

Watched a very interesting HBO documentary called The Newburgh Sting over the weekend. As with all documentaries, it was slanted one way, but it left me questioning how open and honest the government is with us, and how much corruption takes place and we're lied to so we can sleep easier at night. Seemed like a pretty clear case of entrapment to me.

The Generals Daughter

Bit of a cult classic this. Not the greatest story or execution, but a good thriller with a solid cast. Love the 90s feeling of it all.

What the hell was that? After a promising first 10 minutes it was all downhill. 3 damn hours too.
