Here’s the actual research. Usually you have to be a member to get ahold of this, but it looks as though they are offering it for free. I might download, but it’s not exactly leisure reading. https://jamanetwork.com/journals/jamain … le/2767980

I agree Flagg, the US did basically 'begin' 2 or 3 weeks after EU. Sounds petty but we'll see where the US numbers are versus EU today. Although, they generally similar.

Secondly, you're comment at the end is odd. To say that 'draconian measures werent' needed for .04 death rate', because that's exactly what EU did!!  If we hadn't done draconian measures such as quarantine & masks, then numbers could be much higher than EU. The fact that the numbers match tells me that draconian measures worked.

"could" and "might" - the left's favorite words to use in headlines.  Lots of thing could or might happen, but let's focus on the things that fit our agenda.

I'm not kidding.  Go look at the headlines.  How many have "could" or "might" in them?  Serious question.

Here's one that doesn't:

All these months later and they still don't know dick.  So for anyone that thought they had figured it all out (snow), try again.

This in no way proves me wrong. Therefore, I'm still right tho.

Keep trying 22

I don't have to try bro, the facts do all the work for me.  Keep imagining you have it all figured out though...the less you and mitch post the more peaceful things are.

It's important to note the number hospitalizations and percentage of people testing positive is also rising.

Love America, but, glad our border to you guys is closed.

You've got a shit show of a problem with this pandemic.

Hospitals are fine here, but that information is hard to get and often misleading.  Hospitals around here are apparently going to single occupancy too, which is artificially raising the occupancy rate.  Now that makes total sense, but it does change the calculations and people are comparing apples to oranges.

The message is that most people testing positive are fine or have minor symptoms because it's mostly the young and healthy testing positive as we've apparently finally done a better job locking up the nursing facilities.  Testing is up and has been for long enough that people should by dying left and right, yet they aren't.  Is it because we're building immunity?  Is it because we've protected the sick/elderly better?  Is it because the virus has weakened?  Are we treating it better?  Has the low hanging fruit been wiped out already for the most part?  Hard to say...could be all, some, or none of those.  Regardless it's great that things are progressing this way and not in the terrifying way MSM keeps declaring.

Depending on what part of Canada you live in and how good it is. Aren't there like 15 different versions of universal healthcare up there?

Wait, you think people are dying due to lack of medical care?  Do you have anything to support this, or is this one of those zingers ignorant people who want to be virtuous say?
