I didn't check every venue but at several it's so empty.....you can buy blocks of 8 tickets in the row of your choice.

If one of these shows were today, it'd be verging on a private concert.

Next tour will probably be residencies and festivals.

Seems like the reunion is finally running out of juice. Some of that will be because of inflation and macroeconomics reducing the average person's disposable income but a part of it has to be interest in this fading.

They'll need to downsize their venues or spice up the tour somehow if they want to continue beyond this.

They were insane for not doing anniversary tours in 2017 and 2021.

Fans love these types of tours...many major acts have done them the past 10+ years.

It's possible they initially wanted to but since they are unable to be less than a year late on their anniversaries, can't market the tour as an anniversary.

When you get down to brass tacks...the level of incompetence is astounding.

I looked at these for shits and giggles. One of the few that is pretty sold out is St. Louis.  Which is kinda funny since it's where the infamous riot took place.

But yeah, there are a lot of empty patches on some of the August dates, when this thing is starting.

Preaching to the choir here but, this is why you hire an ACTUAL manager who knows and can capitalize on these things instead of family members who know jackshit about managing.

This goes back to Slash's comments a few years ago about how GNR doesn't know how to release an album in today's world.

I now think he meant it literally....they do not know what to do. Hell...the Absurd/Hard School single was botched...can you imagine these people actually negotiating an album release?

I think this also played some role in no album in the lead up to 2008.... Azoff got the album out...and nothing since he exited stage left.

Remember the "it could show up in record stores on any random Tuesday"  hogwash in 2006? That was probably the best idea they could all think of....but since they didn't have a manager who knew his elbow from his asshole...we had to wait two more years for Azoff to save the damn thing.

It's not a coincidence that real shit gets done whenever real management is involved.

Azoff's biggest mistake is not realizing that the shortest path to the reunion was getting the rest of the  CD session tracks out of Axl's hands and on store shelves.

Instead he pushed for reunion soon after CD and at the time Axl had other ideas, so out the door he went. If he gets CD2 out in 2010 (plus b-sides?), he could have been the one steering the ship to reunion and being the GNR reunion guy circa 2012/13

Not just entire rows but on some nights practically entire sections. It’s Spinal Tap-level disinterest.

Crazy idea, but they could pull it off and get asses into chairs:

Announce that they will do Appetite in full, like Pink Floyd did with Dark Side in 1994, U2 did with The Joshua Tree a few years before Covid, etc.

Doesn’t matter that they do much of it already. Advertise that they will play Appetite, in order, at every show. No real extra work for the band and a concept that the world will understand in one sentence.

Lazy? Sure. But they need to pull a rabbit out of a hat and putting in the real work of releasing a new album seems beyond them.

KISS...on their neverending farewell tour...are now having to start canceling dates due to no interest.

That will be happening with this band at some point.

It really is crazy how they refuse to do anything to promote a tour that is clearly not selling.

They refuse to release anything or go away for long enough for casuals to miss them...so the fans are gonna make them either go away or downsize venues.

Yeah you're right...even though they've wallowed in AFD this century....just stating they are going to do it would sell some tickets.

That would require effort....and I don't think they want to do anything except roll out their tired set each night for big bucks.

And there you have it, that is what will constitute this tour being “new” and “different” lol
