If Nickelback came out and praised CD for the level of talent- i would laugh.
It's all the same. People trying to gain fame by riding on Axl's coat tails. They know how to play the game.
Just because the sentiments of Hinder represent that of a lot of people, doesn't validate it. The simple truth is they playing the game.
It's not that we dismiss it because OF what they say. We dismiss it because pretty much everything they've made sucks more than even Libertad. It's like Sadam saying Michael Vick is a bad person. It's really hypocritical. Almost a my shit doesn't stinck kinda thing...
I don't see it that way. Of course he ain't gonna say his music sucks. He ain't that dumb. But just because his music sucks don't mean he can't find other artists and or albums shitty. Music is subjective. I couldn't write a decent album even if I dedicated the rest of my life to it. Does it mean that because of that I have to like EVERYTHING about every artists?

I agree with Bono. Had Hinder said that CD was fantastic you guys would run to the store and buy their records and say their opinion is pure gold. Personally I think Hinder(or any other band) can think waht they want on Axl, GNR and CD. I don't care. I've already got my opinion and I respect theirs. Sure Hinder and most bands of today couldn't write a good song even if their life depended on it but all you have to do is do what I do. Ignore them. They can't shit a better album than CD yeah I get it, but if they don't like CD then so be it. It's their prerogative. They are allowed to not like it. Just like I'm allowed to consider CD an Axl Rose solo album.
Absolutely not true. I was a big one back in 2006, running around saying that Papa Roach sucks, and Baz's new material, even the Axl songs, are completely weak.

You're right. I remember people going and beating off to Angel Down when it come out, and even as a Skid Row & GN'R fan, I can honestly say I was stunned at this. The music was weak.
When I saw Baz in 2006, the only song that stuck in my mind was "By Your Side", which was good, but was basically a remake of "I Remember You" with different lyrics. No originality at all.

people that think GNR need Hinders fan base to be relevant these days are out of touch.
hinders fanbase consists of 16 year old girls who heard "lips of an angel" on the radio and thought it was cute. that is it. rock fans generally disregard this band. trust me. i'm sure i'm a lot younger than a lot of you.

I've never met a serious Hinder fan - and I'm still a minor technically. I talk music with a lot of people, Hinder never even comes up.

I never heard any songs from Angel Down and without hearing it I can say that Baz can't write a good song even if he had a gun to his head. And I am a fan of Skid Row as well. I'm pretty sure Angel Down sucks cause everything he did solo prior to that sucked.
