In case anyone wants to feel old, someone born during the 2002 VMAs when most of us were introduced to Nu-Guns, is now able to legally buy booze in the US and buy a handgun.

Do people think Bucket contributed more to the band and album than Robin? Don’t get me wrong, Bucket on TWAT is phenomenal. But I always viewed bucket as a gimmick who provided some really technically driven solos that I assumed were based on Finck’s guitar leads.
But I’ll take Robin’s solo on Better any day of the week as more soulful and true to the blues sound that’s at the core of the GN’R sound.

I compete in the Steak Cookoff Association and KCBS. KCBS is too expensive as it’s a $1200 investment in the protein alone if you want any chance at walking each time, but the SCA is much more affordable. Been to the world championship the past 2 years and will be at Fort Worth in March for my 3rd time at worlds competing.
But in the spirit of this thread, my favorite at home recipe to cook is a spicy style alfredo sauce.
1/2# of pancetta diced and fried in the pan (bacon is a fine alternative)
Remove the pancetta, but leave the oil
1/2 a white onion, finally diced
8-12 cherry peppers chopped
2 cloves garlic
Add the onions and cherry peppers to the pan and sauté for 3-5 minutes over medium heat
Add crushed/diced garlic and continue to cook for 30-50 seconds until aromatic hits you.
Turn heat to low
Add 1/2 pint of heavy whipping cream and mix until everything is well blended
Add 4-6 ounces of Parmesan slowly while stirring until desired consistency is achieved.
Add cooked pancetta back into the mixture
Pepper to taste
Add cooked pasta (I’m obsessed with bucatini at the moment) and a few ounces of the pasta water into the sauce and stir until we’ll mixed and coated
One of the best pasta dishes I’ve had anywhere

Anybody know what the new vocals are on this song? I never listened much to the demo.
If you put on CC to the YouTube video it has a perfect translation of the lyrics

Axl is wearing a Ukraine shirt while singing civil war. I got the message

In all fairness, Axl told the crowd he wasn’t going to move while he figures out “how to sing this fucking song”

Wow...that's practically giving them away!
I’ve paid more to see GN’R cover bands. Pittsburgh isn’t Chicago, so less demand than the major markets, but my understanding is Hershey wasn’t anymore well attended. In 2016 when they kicked it off, non major markets were at 2/3 capacity. Not Taylor Swift or even Metallica, but respectable in this day and age. Now, I have a hunch PNC park won’t even be 50% full, and that’s with gorgeous weather on a Friday at $25.
They got the 40 and 50 somethings 6-7 years ago with the 90s nostalgia angle. If they can’t get Gen Xers to shell out $25 for a Friday night show in 70 degree weather, they really need to reassess their marketing. This show has been on every major billboard around here for months.
