I have a spare ticket for the St. Louis show in section A3 which is the middle floor section right behind the pit. Great place to try and catch Axl's mic after PC. I will eat the fees and sell at face value for $250 and can email the ticket to any buyer. Thanks!

Thanks! Yes, I was around at the start of ROV. The GNR Bar is alive and well, but has been moved to a Facebook group. A bunch of us from there will be in Sin City!

We spent a lot of time talking about hockey. I think he was very appreciative to not talk shop all the time and was pleased to have a conversation outside his work world.

I met Del in 2011. He was very nice to me and went out of his way to come talk to me a couple of times.

I am running a Pro's vs. Joe's. NCAA College Basketball Pool starting tomorrow. The concept is very simple:
The "Joe's" which is us, fill out a bracket for $5. Half of all money goes to The Oldham Project. They help kids with cancer. The other half of the money is given to the top 3 finishers.
The "Pro's" fill out a bracket for free and donate one autograph. Any Joe who beats a Pro gets their name in a drawing to win that item. Since Ron is on tour, he was generous enough to donate 2 items, but will not be filling out the bracket. So anyone who plays gets their name in the drawing for what Ron signed. There is a nice 8x10 signed by him as well as an autographed copy of a CD. 
The other Pro's playing are former NFL players TJ Duckett (Falcons, Redskins, Lions, Seahawks), Blair White (Colts), and Damian Gregory (Buccaneers, Browns, Raiders, Lions). Current White Sox pitcher Matt Thornton is also participating. There may be a few other pro's added to the contest.
So anyone who would like to play and help a good cause, please pm me your e-mail address so I can send you an invite to play.

This is a no brainer. Kick DJ out and put Robin back in. Finck is original and has his own stage presence. I can do with out the Hulk Hogan hand to ear and fist pounding the heart. Finck plays with emotion and DJ is trying to sell clothing. blah

I still think Buckethead fucked up Patience that night. Should be mentioned that is also the last show where Rhiad was played live and the first show to have 4 CD songs played in a row.

Green Day sucks! I think this is an awful choice. I believe the HOF was left scrambling to get someone and with the inductees so random about everything the HOF had to pull the trigger on something.
I am personally more interested in the potential of the Duff show then I am the Induction at this point.
