I listen to a lot of Chinese Democracy and Velvet Revolver. Also a healthy amount of Snakepit and Slash solo stuff as well.
Back in the day I used to blast illusions front to back - but now tend to do favs from them rather than the whole albums - still love to blast YCBM and some of those tracks though.
Favs from TSI get a heavy workout too. There's something sort of fresh about that album even though its covers.
Would really love an AFD remaster as I love the album but it sort of rocks harder live than on the record these days cos of the production.
I watch a lot of live show boots too. For this tour love the Houston 2016 boots (Axl was on that night!) and some of the Axl/Dc shows where he goes nuts. Also give some of the 2006 proshot GNR shows a bit of a flogging - Rock Am Ring 2006 comes to mind - pretty much put that on with beers whenever I'm having a drink.
I listen to a lot of playlists and random/shuffle mixes in general - like I've got a mix of GNR and similar bands I like (Ac/Dc, Aerosmith, Saxon etc) and have it on most of the time.
So yeah...I guess i still listen to too much GNR but in a different way than I did as a teen when I'd listen to complete records front to back....now its more about shows or fav cuts.

I don't really mind the setlist. I like that it's hits and CD songs as a fan of both bands.
I would probably rearrange the order a bit though - I feel the second half of the show has too many ballads near each other - particularly near the encore section....I think we need another rocker around there to go with PC...but that's a small issue.
To me it is very noticeable how Axl's voice struggles some nights though. When he has a good night (Eg Houston Tx 2016) it's incredible...but there's a lot of shows where it's much weaker sounding unfortunately.
I think they should record and he could tailor the songs to suit what he can still do. Like use that Ac/Dc yell he has going on for them over a modern slash riff. That would be cool.

Desktop for me.
Might use a phone if there was an app but I hate using browsers on my phone.
I can imagine traffic might increase a bit when there's a new record or some real news...like it did circa the reunion starting....but i think lots of people are just burnt out. Even a lot of the hardcores I know feel like they've said everything to say.
I mean we discussed the CD songs from 2001 or so since Rio3, then we've had the album version of CD for 9 years, it's been countless years since UYI etc. I'm following the shows but they're all so similar there's not much to discuss about them except for the occasional great night or off night etc.

I loved season 1 and 2.
To me there's a perfect end point at the end of season 2.
Season 3 and 4 the plot was just kinda obvious and contrived to me - although still watchable for the good actors etc.
Season 5 to me - and it feels a bit like Game of Thrones where I feel what happens now is based on audience feedback of the characters rather than a natural progression of the story.
I enjoy watching it anyway - but I find some of the way the characters have evolved now to be sort of absurd and while it's still entertaining to me it's very much 'jumped the shark' compared to the masterful stuff in season 1.

Yes although we also had the "hall of fame thing" along similar lines for decades and that nearly happened...well at least sorta did....but I guess the bad ignored the 20th of AFD so there's just as much reason to ignore the 30th.
Then again i figure they designed that fanclub art for something....but who knows...they do a lot of things that never come to pass it seems. Like the docos from the past.

Hmm...I want to be excited about this but as others have mentioned Fortus pretty much says this type of thing every 2-3 years.
Then again Axl has multiple unreleased tracks we know about lying around since 2001 or something. Wouldn't be hard to add slash to those.
Surely one day they'll see the light.

it sounds like the gunners are well aware they're going to have to bust out the big shit for this tour in order to keep audiences satisfied.
I hope so.
Although it's often the start of a tour where there's a bit of variety.
For instance last year they did Twat in Mexico but by the time they got to Australia the setlist was more fixed.
Like wise if you look at late 2009 vs early 2010 the setlist became more fixed as the tour moved on...dunno why.
I'd love to hear IRS too....but Axl will need to do his AXL/Dc scream on it. It could work - he kinda screamed the vocals at Rock Am Ring 2006 and it ended up kinda cooler than the studio take to me.
