Brilliant fake of an old rehearsal recording, sounds like something from the 80’s.
Edit: listened to the ballad, if it’s real, fuck the leaker for letting us know that Axl once sang a “sha la la la” shit

I kinda like it. Sounds early Eddie Vedder-ish. Reminds me of the underground PJ song 'Footsteps'. Something about the solo doesn't always sound like Slash, but I can't see how it wouldn't be really. Plus, some parts toward the end do. Could this be Hollywood Rose tho?  Maybe a garage studio type cassette recording, or an early shows soundboard bootleg?

Agreed.

It's good, but the Appetite stuff will always be at the top of the list. If we're just picking one song, I would go with Rocket Queen...in particular the ending of it.

I do like that ending, in a way kinda cooly foreshadows 90s music & 4 chord grunge style. Love it!  However, best moment in GnR history imho is SCOM intro, that or WTTJ intro. Just being honest.  I'd say SCOM.

Only a fvcking idiot would accept this election at face value. Is there enough shady shit to overturn the election? Maybe not, but this was ANYTHING but a clean election.

Dude come back to planet Earth.

Why, because the guy who encouraged his supporters to mail in vote won the mail in vote?  And the guy who's denied the pandemic all year, caught covid, 4 members of his immediate family cought covid, 40 members of the WH caught covit, and encouraged his supporters to vote in person lost the mail in vote?!!

Thats your evidence??  Get a clue man, quit watchin OANN.

#165 Re: The Garden » Current Events Thread » 249 weeks ago

Of course Biden won the mail in vote. He advocated heavily for it whereas trump openly encouraged his supporters to vote in person. Democrats also tend to believe Theres a massive pandemic going on and it was essentially the #1 factor in voting. Democrats also tend to believe in it whereas Republicans downplay or even disbelieve it.

It sure as shit isnt a surprise Biden won mail in votes, it isnt fraud, it cause = effect. Itd be like democrats complaining the W won the pro-war vote in 04 by too high a majority.

Georgia had 4 million votes, being off by 8000 is a 99.998% accuracy rate. Probably happens every election year & in every state, only this year we happen to have an abject reject refusing to concede in order to fundraise for his PAC so he can transfer the funds into his bankrupt business model, and a lawyer desperate for a pardon to avoid treason charges.

Supported by no facts or evidence whatsoever. Trump lost = dirty.

You're actually just wrong. It's not really a debate.

The fact you cannot audit the votes is highly disturbing. You cannot verify the signature and once the ballot enters the tabulator there is nothing tying the ballot back to the envelope. We all know fraud happened. It is document. Was it enough to over turn the election? Perhaps not.

Georgia recounted the vote by hand and there was very little change. I may be wrong but I think Biden even won by more. The average "recount" typically results in a difference of something like 200 or 800 votes, its absurd. Tying the ballot back to the envelope??  WTF are you talking about, quit watching Newsmax. The whole thing is a stunt for tumps fundraising PAC to get money $$

Butterfly Effect was good, I wouldn't say Top 10 good, but yeah admittedly its up there. Surprised me considering Ashton Kutchner was just the dude from 70s Show & Dude Where's My Car at the time. I think a friend was all about it at the time so I checked it out.

40 Year Old Virgin was one of the better comedies, and those teen/adult style comedies. If American Pie was 2000, I'd go with it since I feel it started that all. 40 YOV I wouldn't. Again, they're up there.

TBE stood out to me for its accurate portrayal of chaos theory and how much of our lives are circumstance. It was a great thought experiment, and an important one for understanding empathy. I thought then and still do that it deserves more attention. I’m no cinematographer , but solid story and acting really entertain me.

I agree, it was layered & sorta like The Matrix in its concept. I did like the storyline alot, and wasn't so bad in the whole romance aspect from what I recall. Yeah it was psychological. A surprise hit, probably might warrant Top 19, I dunno. Underrated although I thought it was well reviewed. Didn't they make a sequel & couldn't even get Ashton to sign on?  Good film, sorta like Eternal Sunshine, a thinkers film & also surprise hit & unassuming star in a good role.

Momento might deserve Top 10 material.

That's funny, James always pushed their album hard. I remember 10 years ago almost buying the cd online due to his recommendations and posting about how well done & underrated/underappreciated it was. This was before YT so  buying was the only way. Years later I gave it a listen, will have to do so again sometime soon.
