GNR would never do anything as cool as this:
whatever....neither would Led Zep, TheWho, or any other good band. Grohl is a jerk....different jerk than Axl but a complete JACKASS.
I love flaming liberals who have NO RESPECT for others views.
such a contradiction huh?
You put Axl above Dave in the jerk and jackass category because of some comments he made about GNR 20 years ago? Are you insane? Your talking about someone (Axl) who lost his shit on a photographer in an airport for just snapping a few pics among other things.
GNR could take a few pages out the Foo Fighters' book on how to treat fans. They constantly have the fans in mind. From the constant updates to way they perform shows and everything inbetween. If Axl did something like that protest, people on here would be drooling over their keyboards as if it was the best and most original thing to ever happen in rock music.
You will never see a GNR documentary with the band in theaters accompanied by a live broadcasted 3D concert. Hell, Axl won't even allow his band to be streamed on the internet in shit quality.
FF come on stage ON TIME. This isn't 1992 anymore, people don't really care enough about GNR to wait hours for them to come on. That's why most of the arenas in the US are half-filled and 2/3s empty by 2:30 am when the show is over.
They play a full set every night and don't get pissy about the audience. When I saw the Foos on Monday, Dave asked the crowd to cheer if it was their first FF show and a good 3/4s of the sold-out arena erupted. Instead of being offended or pissed, he turned it into a joke and laughed about it.
Ticket prices were reasonable for such a high-profile act. Floor tix were $60 after fees. I paid $90 for GNR at the same venue in 06.
Lets see, a t-shirt at that concert was $25 while one at GNR was $35... I could go on and on but I just don't get how you can say Dave is a bigger ass than Axl. I love them both but Dave for sure wins me on the treatment of fans.
Ugh it just pisses me off when internet GNR fanboys seem they have to hate everything Dave Grohl just because of a stupid little rift between Axl and Nirvana 20 years ago. That's fine if you don't like FF music but to say Dave is a bigger jackass than Axl is probably the dumbest thing I've read on the internet and there is a lot of stupid shit on here.
#12 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Robin's Robin (Shows @ Sonoma, CA, 16-17/09/11) » 731 weeks ago
I saw Robin with nin a couple years after he left GN'R and I felt bad for him. He looked bored as hell. Not nearly displaying the passion he did in GN'R. It was an odd tour though because it was with Jane's Addiction. It was an outdoor venue and nin were done playing before the sun was down. It was just kinda off since their show relies a lot on visuals and none of them showed up well with the sun beating directly down on the stage.
I was there too. I heard he was sick that night from some of the people that bought the meet and greet package and saw him earlier in the day. That whole NIN set was lacking. I saw him with NIN in 08 on the LITS tour also. I was right up front in front of Robin and he was moving around the entire time. He had more energy than anyone else in the band. Oh and he didn't play sloppy at all like in GNR.

If people hear actually saw Robin live with NIN or '06 GNR they wouldn't be bashing him. IMO he stole the show when I saw those bands perform. Yea maybe he can't play 129301 notes a minute cleanly or he doesn't replicate Slash perfectly like DJ does but don't you guys realize that's not what he's trying to do? He was waaaaayyy out of place in GNR. Some people just can't accept that the guy shows emotion in a different way when playing guitar compared to the cookie-cutter session musicians in GNR today.

I guess it leaves the door open for a bunch of different feuds and whatnot but that ending definitely had me going WTF?? Hopefully this doesn't kill Punk's momentum.
I also agree about Del Rio not deserving of the belt. The only reason he got it is because the WWE is going on a big tour of Mexico soon. Mexican champ = more $$$.

Don't know if this has been posted before but it's a pretty cool video I came across.

I think this album is their strongest. There is no Everlong on here but from front to back, there is not one bad song. Maybe once the new-ness wears off it won't seem as good but right now I can't stop listening to it.

EDIT: Their official website is streaming in better quality.http://wastinglight.foofighters.com/
WOW this is blowing me away. Definitely one of their best offerings. Walk, Arlandria and Bridge Burning are my favs so far.

If his streak does end, it will have to be against a younger wrestler (cough... Wade Barrett). What would someone like HHH or Cena gain from beating him at 'Mania? Both are already established and household names. Whoever ends the streak will get massive heat and will be the top heel for some time.

It sounds more like the RHCP song to me. Plus, didn't RHCP play RiR 2001 too?
#20 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » AFD 100 Amp Launch Video » 773 weeks ago
MSRP of $2899USD
and thats just the 100w head....no cabinets
Retail is $1999. Still way too much for any kind of amp. I wouldn't pay that much even if Slash himself delivered it to my doorstep dressed as a UPS guy.
