I'd like to thank the Colt's shitty defense for another season of let down. They catch a break with L.T. being hurt, yet they still got ran all over.

Oh I won't be told anymore that I am the only one that wants maddy gone.

The reunion thing does nothing for me without new material. I agree with you war, i've heard enough, I know they still know how to play those songs flawlessly.

I hate that I want to hear whatever is out there because I know somewhere a hoarder is getting off to the notion.

DoubleTalkingJive wrote:I totally agree with you. Which is why I think CIR or Prostitute would be more radio friendly.
here's a quote form some person commenting on Prostitute on youtube.
"Take the vocal track away and you have background music for a car commercial. That's a very tight and commercially viable sound. Excellent new corporate rock album. I can't wait to see what lousy commercials this album ends up in. Dig that party beat."
Not sure if thats' good or bad. I personally like Prostitute by the way. Top 3 on the album.
I like the track too but, I can see that guys point about the music. Introducing the all new Toyota Matrix, first in it's class crash test rating....

I wouldn't go that far as to say Contraband killed CD since it only pushed 2k more units in it's first week, four years ago. It's scary how close the numbers are. Makes me wonder what a illusions era line up could pull off.
The sales are pretty much what I expected. Nickelback only pushed 325,000 units in their first week. 250k is hardly a flop. Oh and since I'm spewing out random numbers, Hinder sold 91k in their first week. .

Cool find.
The first record, everything was written. I went in and rerecorded parts, but it was all written before I got in.
Take that Fortus nut swingers! lol
Anyone notice he said "the first record"? Could Mr. Fortus have a larger role in future installments? I'm interested in what Fortus is capable of from a writing aspect.
#338 Re: Guns N' Roses » Who has the album and when did you get it? » 877 weeks ago
I picked mine up today (Sunday). I got the vinyl and CD.
#339 Re: Guns N' Roses » Guns N' Roses update official site » 877 weeks ago
Buckethead is the only real loss for the band imo. While I love Brain's drumming, Frank sounds just fine. I've never really cared for Robin either outside of "Better". He just never seemed to fit with the band, whatever that means. We don't know what Fortus is capable of because his presence on the album is almost non existent.
I don't think we can rule out Paul Huge's contributions to future albums just because he doesn't like touring.
Even with the devastating loss of Bucket, I think it's too early to condemn the future of the band.

I don't really care about any more CD demos except anything from 98-99. It would be cool to hear some bucket era demos but, I'm just fine with these final tracks.
I like everyone else here, would like to hear ANY unheard tracks if there are even any out there. I think the possibility of that is slim at best. Has anyone ever claimed to have anything else besides the demos of the tracks that appear on CD and that 16 sec clip song?
